So yes. Eat there. Enjoy it.

But only go once a year. Your body deserves it but your waist doesn't.

I had high hopes for this place, but it was very disappointing! The eggs are very runny and I asked for a fried egg. I made sure she heard me and she said she would give me one but she did not! I wanted an egg in my grits..No Egg!!! But I was sure charged for it. The bread was supposed to be toasted but it was not. it was very soggy!

I'll never go here again!!!

They give you a hard time about placing orders, but they don't seem to care about making the orders correctly.

Loved my servers—they were great! The staff was friendly, but they were out of a few items, the rotisserie chicken was dry, coffe cold and had grains at the bottom of cup, grits watery. The restaurant could use some updates.

Today, I decided to stop by this business and give it my money. Ordered a Salmon Biscuit & side of Grits. Wanted to get a biscuit bc I wanted to try one since it’s a part of their name and with salmon bc that’s my only option as a pescatarian. While I can appreciate the size of the Salmon Croquet, it filled with so much filler (IMO & experience). It barely taste like salmon and more like something that’s been breaded and cooked to be served. You only get one jelly for all this breading and it’s hard to swallow. Me trying to eat this was challenging so I gave up. I wouldn’t recommend neither would I get it again; one time is good enough for me. The grits were bland while served with one small butter; no salt or pepper included. I guess you have to ask for those condiments, idk. Lastly, the customer service was just ok. Not a fan.

Delicious food at a great price! The staff makes you feel at home. Tried this for the first time and definitely will be back. Highly recommend the chicken biscuit and Mac n cheese.

Initially I said 'no' to Mamie's because the line was out the parking lot, into the street, around the corner, and down the adjoining street. Oh, the grief Boyfriend gave me! You wanna talk about a guilt trip.. he got an A+ for that one LOL. Boyfriend always says anyplace with a line that long has got to be good.. As it turns out we ended up in traffic for a bad accident and detoured right back to Mamie's. We didn't wait in the drive thru line but got out and stood in the walk up line. Customer service is top notch - the guy at the counter was efficient and friendly, and made sure everyone knew just how very busy they were. They had 80+ call in orders, a drive thru line 15 cars deep, and 8 people in line but he assured us we would all be served. And when we were, it was delicious. We didn't wait long but appreciated him caring to prepare us for a wait. My son had to use the restroom and he let him go even though the dining room was closed.. and I was grateful. I'm very glad we ended up trying out Mamie's after all. We will certainly come back when in town again! ... because Boyfriend was right 😄

I have been stopping in for breakfast at Mamie's kitchen since 1992. Food is still the same good quality. Back in the day the gravy was plentiful on the chicken or steak biscuit. It's all good though.

Had bacon egg cheese biscuit. Plentiful bacon. I gobbled the whole biscuit sandwich up. I could have easily had 2 as it was delicious.
