I cried eating those frijoles. They were like the ones my dear Nana Linda would make when she was alive. The tacos were crunchy and delicious, I'm looking forward to another girl's trip so I can get my fix. 😍💕❤️ This place is run by a wonderful family that works hard to put out deliciousness, and they sure do. There's original art for sale on the walls which is really cool. The food was fantastic. We got the E combo, tamale was delicious, the red chili and the beans were the star. The extra hot hot sauce is soooo worth the $3 for a serving. So good. The server was working her butt off but maintained a friendly manner. Well definitely be back!

Smelled delicious upon entry!! The complimentary salsa tasted oddly of pizza sauce, probably from the hints of Mexican oregano lol, but was otherwise pleasant. If you're looking for something spicy, request the spicy salsa! Ordered some chicken enchilalas and a burro. Both were decent in taste. We felt they lacked flavor, and our burrito was dry. I definitely won't be stopping by again, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't give it a try since we enjoy bold flavors specifically.

Family owned and that’s how they make you feel. Such a great food. Hard working family, there was this kid that even opened the door for us and brought a little present for our daughter.

My family has been eating at Lupe's for years. It has been food made from the traditions of the long line of family members from the Globe/Miami area with a history of the best Mexican food anywhere so it's hard to write a somewhat negative review. As of the last two years or so the food has been inconsistent at best ranging from good to mediocre and back to good on occasion. Most of the time the food is lukewarm, the tacos don't taste fresh and the salsa which used to be a signature staple has degraded to flavored tomato sauce. My hope is that the current owners will take heed and try to capture the previous quality of delicious Mexican food.

Visited this restaurant on our way back trip from Biosphere 2, food quality was great, it took some time for us to get out food on the table but it was worth waiting. Service was also good. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend it if you are on the way that side.
