This place had delectable sides and excellent sauces. However, the brisket and the pork were both unimpressive. The meat was dry and tough. We were there at noon on a Saturday and the meat tasted like it was from the Sunday prior. We will go back for the sides and sauce! We had the Brunswick stew, coleslaw, mac n cheese, and baked beans. Each side was delicious and up there as some of our favorites! I love all kinds of sauces, so the variety was very nice! They have a spicy sauce in the back you must ask for. It’s not as hot as they warned, but a great flavor profile.

Overall the food is good. Prepared to order it appears which is excellent. Food was fresh. The fries were amazing. Can do without the potato salad and the baked beans were decent. Nice ambiance. Be prepared to pay 50 cent for any additional bbq sauces if you order take out.

Ordered the catfish platter with Mac and cheese & potato salad & added a side of beans ( they don’t contain any meat) which I was so happy about. Everything tasted amazing, catfish fried to perfection 2 healthy size pieces, Mac and cheese was good just needed a tad more salt but no big deal, potato salad just right, but babbyy those baked beans 10/10 nice and Smokey not too sweet. It’s more of a order at the counter sit down and they bring the food to you kind of spot, but I still cleaned up after my self. Cashier was nice and patient. Spent about $22 with gratuity for platter extra side and a fountain drink. Would definitely recommend and be back soon.

My husband and I came for dinner the other night and both got brisket platters with 2 sides. The food here is awesome!! Its reasonably priced and super flavorful. The french fries are those ones with the crispy coating on them (our personal favorite). The mac and cheese specifically was super cheesy and delicious. Will be returning here soon!!

Tried Luckey's for the first time last week and it was perfect. I had the brisket, Mac and collards and they were all great. The sauces were different flavors than any I've had before, even though the brisket had enough flavor and didn't need the sauce. The staff was nice, even made a new batch of sweet tea 10 minutes before closing time, plenty of places would just say they were out.

The food is amazing. The staff is friendly. This is absolutely going to be our new "go-to" place for BBQ from now on. Our children couldn't get enough of the Mac and cheese with French fries. The pulled pork and brisket were great as well. I can't wait to try more of the menu.

Randomly ordered one day and was so surprised that I ordered again during the week to see if it was a fluke or if they were consistent.

FOOD: Brisket, macaroni, greens. Best I've had at any restaurant. BBQ beans. Wish I had more beans than sauce. Ribs were a little 'too done'. I didn't care for the super dense cornbread muffin. I preferred the Texas toast.

TAKEOUT VS DINE IN: Dine in was the better experience even though I went during lunch. Not a bad wait. Employees were pleasant. Restaurant is clean. When ordering takeout, I've found that your food will sit on the counter for some time before you actually get the text that it's ready.

I'll visit again but will stick to the few items I had the first visit.

The rib tips were too fatty. I had to pick through them just to be able to eat them without gagging on the fat. The collards had so many stems I couldn't even enjoy eating them. The bbq beans were just ok with little to no flavor. Overall everything was just....ok
