Location is good and is walkable. We came during the off season so the area was relatively quiet. However with a first floor unit, we could hear every footstep above us. Place was relatively clean. Everything was old but for the most part working. Don’t expect much from the gym though.

This is a fantastic location. We were in the 1 bedroom with loft. The unit is a good size. I wish the loft had a king bed vs the twin beds. The unit was clean and the check in very easy. No timeshare sale. We did use RCI exchange and in a non updated unit. The sinks and overall needs updated, but the living furniture was comfortable and we liked the fireplace. ||The TV though is minuscule. And the kitchen. Oils have used more than one pan. ||The grounds are lovely.

3 or 4th stay. No wonder they are trying to sell ownership at 50%. Our unit was nasty! I can do older if clean BUT, all pots and utensils were dirty, dusty, greasy or had food on them. Bedside table had dust bunnies it hasn’t been dusted in so long. Be side fridge disgusting. Floors mopped but corners full of dirt. No longer give pool towels. No fire log given as brochure says and office doesn’t return phone calls or answer the phone! Grounds nice, we knew it was off season but dish with coffee on counter has a layer of dust. Counters dusty. ||Very disappointed and going down hill!

A journey back in time. Revisit the 80's! Totally retro. Small screen tvs, corded telephones, white walls with stained trim and interior doors. Nothing about this place is modern. The beds are as comfortable as sleeping on the floor or up in a tree hanging off a tree limb. They are small singles and short queens. I'm 6'3 and my feet hang off the end of all the beds.
However, if you are on the river, the views are stunning on the back deck. So its not all bad. But if you were born in the 90s or 2000 era, you can see what it felt like to live in the 80s. I kid you not! I always feel like a kid again in this place. If you put away your phone and laptop. Just use what is in the rooms. You will see what it was like to live in the 80s.
It's clean though. Just rickety and needing a little reinforcement on the floors. A ton of cracking going on. This was upscale living in the 80s. The ceiling fan in the master was top notch back then. I really love that ceiling fan. (Not being funny) those were always in the rich peoples houses in the 80s.
Do I recommend this place? Absolutely! But not for more than a night. You will leave crippled from the beds. They are terrible. Even one night on the beds will stiffen you up pretty good. Not to mention the sheets are more in line with sandpaper than linen.
If you were a kid in the 80s, you owe it to yourself to go back in time and see how far we have come! 5 stars on the retro vibe!

Nice location, lovely grounds. The staff was very friendly. The unit was very old and tired and in need of renovation several years ago. The kitchen floor was very dirty. The furniture was dusty. The upholstered furniture was worn. There were ashes in front of the fireplace from a previous guest that were never swept up.

Resort was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean if a little dated. Had a good river view, better if there weren’t a dumpster in the view, but that’s a small thing. No frills, but a good clean place.

Very nice, clean, and well equipped. The pool was warm, and the hot tub was hot. Very relaxing and enjoyable trip.

The unit was dated but had everything we needed. AC worked great as did the other appliances and ice maker. Bed was comfortable and the porch overlooking the river was a great spot! Location was fantastic for walking into Helen but also for visiting all the surrounding cities.
