The manager is awesome, the front desk woman was kind, and the room was in gorgeous condition. We got a good deal for the night, a great deal considering the state of the motel, I'd even consider calling it a hotel. The one issue was the main water line broke. Completely understandable due to the massive cold front that hit the US two days ago. We were only staying for the night, and showered in the morning before we got there, so all we needed was a toilet. The front desk specifically brought us a giant bucket of water just for us to use for the night. (After the water line gets fixed) consider this a gem.

Great little roadside motel just off I-40. The gentleman who checked me in late night was super pleasant and helpful during the entire process.

The hotel is a little dated, but this should be expected if you're staying in a room that is <$50/night. No complaints at all, room was dated but still clean. The only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 was simply because the age of the rooms, but again, not their fault really when the trade off is a good cheap room in an area that doesn't have many options. Would definitely stay here again.

This was a motorcycle trip out I-40 head towards Colorado.

From start to finish, the staff was awesome. The desk clerk was friendly and kind. The room was clean...clean bed linens, clean floors, and clean bathroom. The bathroom was small. The beds were okay (for a hotel bed), pillows were sparse. The AC worked well.

Recently under new management (06.2023), and you can tell that management is trying very hard to revive (or save) the Lonestar Inn & Suites in Erick, OK. This is a budget hotel. The price was very reasonable for the room we stayed in.

VERMIN: I hate to leave this review since the front desk guy seemed very nice but I have to help my fellow highway travelers. First room had RODENT FECES IN THE BED and on the furniture. Second room had dead cockroaches on the floor. I was exhausted from driving all night so I went to sleep. During the night found a live cockroach in the bathroom and noticed more rodent feces in the corner of the bathroom. “Non-smoking” rooms smelled like smoke and had cigarette burns on the bedspreads. Oh, and the smoke detector was removed for the ceiling. Pretty sure THAT’S illegal. All this hell for $70. Do not stay here. Keep driving.

I stayed there several years ago when it was motel 6 it was clean and they were working on part of it. The room was big and roomy for my husband since he is in a wheelchair. Fast forward to last July 2022 I was driving by myself. Saw the change name. Look around and it look not very pleasing. But I needed to get off the road was tired. I asked for non smoking. He said can't guarantee if no one has smoked in there although it is suppose to be non smoking. I was informed I needed to pay cash because there card machine wasn't working. I said okay only I need to look at room FIRST. Because I have asthma. Well he showed me room. All I said there is no way I can stay in this room as soon as you opened the door it reeked with smoke. You could see it needed cleaning from outside the door. Never stepped inside.

Advertised on Hotels.com as a 4 star. Sorry, this place is not quite a 1 star. Located in a questionable neighborhood as too safety. A well-worn hotel with cosmetic updates. Floor was dirty and moved as you walked on it. Otherwise bedding and towels were clean, tub and toilet worked, but mini refrigerator made too much noise so unplugged it. Still, it was too late to go elsewhere. The sink stopper stuck. Doors were in bad shape. Left key in slot as manager was not attending the window which you approached from outside. No lobby access.

Booked on oyo app 2 Dec. When we arrived the location was closed. The lights were off and the location appeared to be undergoing heavy renovations. There were two phone numbers to call posted on the door. One was disconnected when we called and the other just rang. I was still charged for the stay even though the location was closed.

***After posting this OYO reached out and doubled down on not refunding or offering credit.

After a long drive, and being directed to the wrong address, we arrived in Lonestar Inn at 4am. Hoping to get a nice shower and a good night rest before continuing our trip cross country. The reception was closed and we had to call a number. The receptionist came very quickly after the call and did the check in. We got assigned room 205, upstairs. The way upstairs was utterly unpleasant. We walked across different sections of feces. We saw a dead dried frog and the smell was horrible. After entering the room, we saw that the carpet wasn’t cleaned. It was hard to walk on it since it was so gross. When we wanted to shower, we came across dead a lively insects in the bathroom. After showering, we discovered that the bed was actually used, since I found a hair and that the sheets were not tightly put on the mattress. Same goes for the pillows. The trash bin hasn’t been cleaned out, because we found a full diaper there. All of this gross me out, so I didn’t even sleep on my side of the bed, but rather sleep in the arms of my boyfriend in order to have at least as possible contact with the bed. I haven’t slept at all. After 3 hours I’ve decided to go to the car and tell the reception everything the next morning. The reception was closed so I called the number for the reception to check-out and file a complaint. My complaint was handled by a simple “ok”. I wonder if this is the way to run a hotel.
