LMR catered my daughter’s wedding on Friday. Let me tell you, the experience with LMR was outstanding. Amber, Holly, and Colin were the incredible people that took care of everything that evening. They went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. They checked in with us constantly to ensure we had everything we needed. They even helped us pack things up which I would assume isn’t in the contract. They did it because they are incredible people that aimed and succeeded to give incredible service. I haven’t even mentioned the food yet. They prepared steak and salmon for us and let me tell you, it was incredibly delicious. The steak was extremely tender and the salmon was prepared perfectly. We got so many compliments on all food. It was all excellent. One last thing, while Amber, Holly, and Colin were all amazing, I want to give an extra shoutout to Amber who led the team. She was beyond wonderful to us and by the end of the night, she was family. I can’t recommend LMR enough.

I have had LMR Catering at several catered weddings and events in the Dayton area, and they always do a wonderful job. The food is always presented well and the staff is super friendly and helpful. While they are known for their BBQ and comfort foods, they do so many other things like passed apps, buffets, plated meals and more. Highly recommend!

We used LMR catering for our wedding and they did an incredible job! We worked with Vanessa during the proposal process and she was communicative and thorough. We knew going into the tasting what we were wanting to serve and it exceeded our expectations! Vanessa allowed us to use our own alcohol and dinnerware which helped cut down on cost. Vanessa called 3 weeks prior to the wedding to go over final details and expectations of LMR. I’ve never felt so relaxed and happy with the customer service that was being offered. The day of the wedding, LMR helped us cut our cake and our bartenders even went around to light the candles for our reception (which we did not know they would do!!). The bartenders went above and beyond the day of the wedding and the staff was great. One in particular stayed until we were finished by helping us clean up and taking our trash out! If you book with LMR, not only will you get incredible food for a reasonable price but amazing staff!! We highly recommend!

We used LMR for our wedding and they did a wonderful job! Vanessa was extremely helpful and friendly and I appreciated her guidance as we went through all the planning. All our food was delicious. We especially loved the brisket and carving station. We also had plenty of food leftover which we kept enjoying after our event. I was also very happy with the help from the staff on the day of the event from setting up the tables all the way to cutting the cake. I highly recommend LMR!

LMR catering did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding. The planning part with Vanessa was great! She helped us walk through all the options and allowed us to bring our own dinnerware to save on costs. She was very helpful with answering questions and discussing the plans for the day of and during our tasting. The bartender and the staff that worked the venue the day of were amazing and went above and beyond for us. They helped with packing up, serving, cleaning up and were incredibly friendly! The food was great and they have a great variety. They are worth it and I would recommend them for everyone!!

This review has been a long time coming. I had to sit and think of how exactly to explain my experience with LMR so that no other bride goes through what I went through on my wedding day. We previously spoke to LMR at a bridal expo near the Dayton area, we reached out to a few vendors we met that day and LMR fit our budget. After initial contact with LMR I suffered the death of my grandfather in April 2022, which made it extremely hard and painful to move forward with planning my wedding which was set for July 10 2022. Once I was able to pull myself together, I reached back out to LMR, explained my circumstances and told them that we would still like to go with them for our wedding.

Communication: I worked with Lindsay the event director mainly through email. I confirmed with her the date of the wedding, location, dj, vendor, every necessary detail she requested, I provided. Lindsay provided us with an updated proposal and it was more affordable, so we thought to go with them. STRIKE 1. Our first reservation with LMR was the fact that even for a guest list of around 70 people, they still made us pay for 100 plates because they had a minimum of 100 plates for Sunday weddings. STRIKE 2. During the process of finalizing the menu to see if they could accommodate for low fodmap, and gluten free options, as well as a special meal for my mother... I was absolutely GHOSTED. No contact and no response to my question from May 25th until June 7th. I was panicking thinking that they were no longer going to do my wedding leaving me in a lurch. I had my matron of honor call LMR and they told her that Lindsay had gone on vacation. That's cool, but there's no out of office? No back up to responding to her emails? How are customers who are getting really close to their event supposed to feel secure in a company that does not communicate?

Food: STRIKE 3.
-I did not see the display for the app/cocktail hour foods, I can only speak to the dinner items.
- The Woodfired Roast Beef was reminiscent of jerky, it was the driest piece of beef I have ever had. I attempted to cut it with the plastic forks LMR provides and my knife bent. I am at the front table and I couldn't even saw through my dinner, imagine my guests? I would think they would provide better cutlery to stand up to their extremely dry beef.
- The fact that they called this Caribbean Jerk Marinated Grilled Chicken is laughable! I am Caribbean, and I grew up with Jamaicans so I know what jerk chicken tastes like. Burned chicken with pineapples on top is NOT jerk chicken and is an absolute waste of money.
- Unfortunately, none of the vegetarians had any of the Vegetarian Lasagna because LMR just kept it in the kitchen, so we had a WHOLE tray of flavorless Vegetarian Lasagna with crunchy uncooked vegetables.
- The One Vegetarian Lasagna with No Black Pepper was ordered special for my mother since she has an ulcer and cannot have any black pepper, this too was left in the kitchen, and my mother was left without a meal for the night!
- The Herbed Green Beans were fibrous, you couldn't bite through one without pulling back enough string to hem a pair of pants.

I also spoke with LMR regarding setting up and handing out our macarons, and placing our cake on top of the tower, and they couldn't even do that properly. They just had our one tier cake next to our macaron tower, it looked terrible in pictures!

I should not have been so desperate to go with LMR since they did not do a tasting of the menu. Do not listen to your venue or DJ when they say LMR is the caterer to go with, they are not, please choose someone else, ANYONE else. If we could do it all over again, we'd go with a taco truck!

The food and day of service was amazing. We had so many compliments on how good the food tasted and appreciated that they were able to help with setting up our appetizers and cupcakes. My only complaint would be the miscommunication from Vanessa. Working with her was my only negative interaction with the company, as she called me just an hour before my rehearsal the day before my wedding to tell me that she had not received the check we sent, even though it was showing up as cashed. After that call, she wasn't responding to emails or calls from me and left my husband and I panicking right before the wedding until they finally were able to let us know that it was misfiled. She also told me multiple times that the bartender provided would bring nothing- no equipment or mixing tools- so we went out and bought a bunch of things just for the bartender to show up with them. A few other things like this happened, but ultimately the wedding day was perfect and the food was just what we wanted.

LMR provided an excellent dining experience for the Mens Bellbrook High School Soccer team! The food and service was impeccable!! They catered to our every need very quickly! Even helped with cake cutting that wasn't purchased from them!
