I grew up in Milford and although we recently sold our home there my wife and I still have friends in the area and occasionally business to do in or near Milford. We've adopted the Lily Pad as our home away from home. Steve and Annie have always been gracious hosts, and have accommodated our sometimes crazy requests. The rooms are very comfortable, Steve puts out a mean breakfast spread, the location is quiet and the backyard sweeping views down to the Wepawaug River that passes through town are spectacular. All this coupled with easy walks to some of our favorite downtown Milford restaurants and bars. My only reservation in writing this review is that more people may find this hidden gem and make getting a room more difficult for us!

Several family members stayed at The Lily Pad right after Christmas and it was another delightful experience. The rooms are comfortable, great living room for visiting and the breakfast is always fresh and well prepared. The living room even had a very cool retro Aluminum Christmas tree, with color wheel! Ann and Steve will take care of everything you need. Took the train to Manhattan too which made for great 'day trip' to do the tourist things in NY.

I LOVED my time at the Lily Pad. My parents came up to CT for a few days before my wedding and we stayed in this B n B. The hosts were so very kind and pleasant. They even had fresh baked cookies out for when we arrived, and got me fresh flowers as a congratulations for getting married. My husband and I also stayed here after our wedding, before leaving for the honey moon. It is such a cute, cozy place with beautiful decorations and a relaxing outdoor setting. The grounds are beautiful and it is set by a river. It is also situated in a small, quaint down town area. We would go back in a heart beat. We have such fond memories and it was such a special experience, made more-so by the owners' hospitality. Highly recommend!

We have stayed at the Lily Pad many times, both with the original owners and now with||the "new" owners Annie and Steve. Every stay has been delightful with clean quiet rooms,||good breakfasts and interesting conversations. My husband and I stayed at the Lily Pad while we were in town for a wedding. Steve really rolled out the red carpet for us. We loved our room, the beautiful yard, the location - pretty much everything about this place. A special thank you for finding a scarf I dropped while walking home from the wedding and mailing it back to me!

Quaint little bed and breakfast located near the heart of town. We were able to walk everywhere. Very good host. Would stay here again.
