After our trip to Dauphin Island we needed a nice seafood dinner before heading home. This restaurant was close enough that we had to try it.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is great and they made us feel at home. The staff was very friendly and we were served right after being seated. We started with the 1/2lb crab claws appetizer which was plenty for me and my wife. They were some of the most tender crab claws we've ever eaten. The sweet tea was good and we both ordered fried shrimp and grilled shrimp with a baked potato, okra, and corn nuggets for sides. Everything tasted like it had been freshly caught and fresh cooked.

We really enjoyed our dinner, and the price was very fair for a full meal with an appetizer. Hope we can come back next time we go to Dauphin Island.

5 Star! 10-4-24 was our first time at Lighthouse Restaurant. Unfortunately, I can't remember our 2 Waitresses names, but our party was highly satisfied with the services we were provided with. Very proficient, friendly & hospitable atmosphere. Fantastic food. I highly recommend the Seafood Platter!

Cute interior. Amazing service. Delicious, fresh food. Visiting Lighthouse Restaurant was a joy! My mom and I came down from Nashville, Tennessee and the fried shrimp was outstanding. I got the PoBoy and my mom got their Shrimp platter. Their pickle chips were SO fresh!!! It was obvious they maintain their fryer in perfect condition because the pickle chips were crisp, bright, and only left tiny speckles of oil on the plate when we were done. Even the ranch was out of this world! Definitely putting a bookmark in this favorite for future visits. You rock, Lighthouse Restaurant! PS. Affordable too.

Down home atmosphere. Wonderful food. Service a little slow, but they were packed. We didn’t get the feeling they wanted us to rush. A rich gumbo with a dark roux, excellent grouper, crab claws good.

It wasn't bad, it wasn't great. Seems like it could have been seasoned a bit better, but as most of thier customers were seniors I can understand it. Prices were really good. The atmosphere was not bad, it definitely vibed like a small coastal town restaurant. The service was spectacular and the young lady met the expectations of our group!

We were here in a Saturday night we had roughly a 15 minute wait for a table which was not bad. Our waitress was very friendly, and helpful. She answered all our questions and was checking on us often. We ordered a platter with fried shrimp, crawfish and crab claws. It came with two sides we chose fries and a salad. We also ordered fried pickles. The food was delicious and plentiful!!! We shared and ended up taking food home with us!

We celebrated my mother's birthday here on yesterday, and we were not disappointed. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food? I wasn't able to enjoy mine because I enjoy bland food, however my family really enjoyed there food and themselves as well. Thank you to the staff for not only your friendliness but you were professional as well. Nice family spot for seafood lovers. Also the crab claws are to die for, figuratively speaking of course, before my diet changed they were my favorite. Definitely recommend.
