They judged us by appearance and overcharged my grandfather,taking advantage of our borderline homelessness while we were looking for a home and basically made it impossible by taking all of our money and didn't come to clean the room at all and the wifi is terrible but they were sure to knock on our door to get money every morning.

I purchased 2 rooms here for a Father's Day trip to be able to cookout with my spouse and her parents. My in laws and I both very much loved the price of the hotel, and definitely loved the older more homey confortability of the place as well. Rooms were well kept and clean, the grounds surrounding the area were also very well kept. And it is most definitely a very child friendly place. I am looking forward to planning another trip out that way simply to stay at this location again soon.

Pretty rough. I stay in a lot of “budget” motels. This is at the low end of the line. Carpet is filthy along the baseboards. Furniture is worn out. There is a partially eaten sandwich on the floor behind the nightstand. Bed is comfortable and appears clean. I will pass on this one the next time.

Great place to stay the night or a few weeks like I did! It was always quite an peaceful there no matter what time of day..my room was clean and they kept it clean my entire stay with them.. never had any problem or issues. The manger and his wife are very nice people and friendly.. I look forward to staying with them again soon!!!

Just an old school rinky sink. What really did it for me was the bed bugs.
I was and am still disgusted. The owner tried to flake them off as tobacco on the bed but when they're moving and you record them moving,. There as no point in trying to convince me I'm seeing things. Don't expect any modern average room
.. could use a good cleaning.

Cute old motel, well located, quiet, comfy, spacious room, only $60. Forget using online booking tools- they only promote corporate places at twice the price. Happy to support local businesses. Thanks!

My buddy's license is expired nobody would give him a room. But Boss man at liberty took care of us. No judgement. From the look of the room the man's remodeled The Establishment since the last time I visited. Thank You.

You get what you pay for at the Liberty inn. It is a nice economy hotel in scottsboro. The air conditioners are not quite cold enough is what holds me back from giving it a premium review and it is a little high for it the total economy price. The Budgetel in Scottsboro is cheaper and better rooms to be honest with liberty in is a Scottsboro classic and has been here forever. It has charm and it is perfectly acceptable as a hotel room
