When legacy Seafood opened up I had high expectations and after visiting (several times at this point) I can say I was not left disappointed.

The food, on every occasion, was made fresh to order. The fish, light and flaky, the shrimp, tender and juicy, the hush puppies, ridiculously good.

The seasoning and sauces are spot on and are all home made. So far everything I’ve ordered has left me more impressed then the dish before.

The staff and the owner have always been friendly and helpful. It’s nice to go into pick up your food and be able to have genuine conversations with people who love what they do.

In closing I’ll say this, Legacy Seafood is hands down my new favorite spot for fresh seafood in the tri county area and I highly recommend it.

My wife and I wanted to do our first crawfish boil so I called Jeff at Legacy and he helped me plan how much seafood I needed for my guests as well as let me rent a boil pot and burner for my boil. Our first crawfish boil was a SUCCESS and I really owe it to Jeff there at Legacy for helping me get it done! Will be back again!

We had the Low country boil with Conecuh sausage, corn on the cob, Alabama shrimp from the gulf, perfectly cooked potatoes… boudin balls are great and his homemade sauce is perfect..We were treated great.. I will definitely be back ❤️

This place has the best seafood around. You don’t even have to go to the beach everything there at legacy is fresh they have really good crab fingers and fries. My mother loved the fried oysters. We will definitely be back to get some more at a future date. P.S. the hush puppies are awesome!

The best fried shrimp. The boudin balls are perfect, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Jeff and Sherry are knowledgeable and friendly. The restaurant is carry out only. It smells fresh not fishy. We will definitely be back.

I was really excited for this place to open because I've always had to go to a location in Montgomery that is known for great seafood, cleanliness and service. I'll miss the guys in Montgomery but I've moved my business to Legacy which is closer to home and provides the same great service, product and cleanliness that I expect. I've bought meals, ordered large amounts of shrimp for multiple shrimp and have had my son's wedding rehearsal dinner from here. They always take great care of my family and EVERYBIDY raved about how good the rehearsal dinner was. It doesn't matter what you order, fish, BBQ, wings, shrimp, prepared or raw it's always fresh and always provides me with a high quality product. You definitely want to give these guys a chance, they won't let you down.

A year an half ago we walked in just to check it out and first off it was nothing like any seafood market we had ever been to before. We went back in about a week and ate and it was so good….everything has always been so fresh and NEVER greasy, no matter what we order it comes out perfect and I don’t know of another place we have ever eaten that I can say that about! Staff is great and treat you like family! Everyone we have told about Legacy of taken there have gone back for more! If you want a great place to eat, take out or have cater for you ….. where they care you picked them …..go meet Jeff and Staff and let them feed you….you won’t be sorry!
