In a day where everyone looks for perfection and 100% satisfaction it's nice to step back and enjoy a simple place to stay where the main attractions are the beautiful Cliffs, the deepest darkest night sky,the brightest stars, the total silence around you.
While our room was dated and we first had second thoughts. We stepped back and looked around us outside and realized that our stay was not based on our bed or our bathroom.
Our room was clean and adequate. Probably the most comfortable bed we slept in on our 10 day journey. Our girls loved having their own room. The stay was quiet and comfortable. Check in and check out were about as simple as it gets. The seclusion was wonderful.
People get over your perfect lives and enjoy some simple peace and quiet at Lee's Ferry Lodge.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We will be back.
FYI the reclining chairs outside were perfect for star gazing.

I was looking for a place to stay from which I could do day trips to the Grand Canyon North Rim, but where there were still some other food and activity options nearby, and this was perfect. Quiet spot close to Lees Ferry with multiple restaurant options within a ten minute drive, gorgeous view right out your door, and SUCH friendly and helpful staff! Room was clean and had a minifridge (call them or read room details carefully to see which have them and which do not, as not all do), and they gave me access to the tavern kitchen to cook my meals when I wanted to. The tavern itself was closed for the season, but it was nice to still be able to use the space, as there was no seating in my room. Highly recommend Lees Ferry Lodge to anyone visiting the area! One important note though: the walls are very thin. If you're sensitive to noise, come prepared with earplugs. The folks next door weren't loud by any means, but I was able to hear snoring through the wall, and the odd car driving by on the highway outside can also be distracting.

What a gem! You can't see anything for miles, so try to get there during daylight hours. Felt like an old western ghost town, we had 2 accomodations. The Hopi house sleeps 5 (will bring a cot for an extra person), and a room at the inn. Old, rustic furniture and a little porch added to the charm of this place. "Jack" checked us in, and also was the proprietor and ran the tavern. Sunrise/sunset was beautiful. Perfect stop over between Zion and Grand Canyon

We got the cabin with a king bed and a queen since we were taking our two oldest on a back haul from Lee's Ferry up the river. Rooms 13 and 14 are pretty new and are built together with a shared kitchen. They have a lot of room to move around in. Ours in #13 had a polished concrete floor, which I expect is the same in 14. Friends of ours stayed in #8, which is a much older room and they said the bed needed help. Our bed was a memory foam mattress. Shower is a bit small considering the huge size of the bathroom, but it got the job done along with being handicapped accessible. It was not inexpensive, but it was a good experience with the kids. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Wow the journey to the lodge gave us a taste of what to expect an it is an amazing location. Really clean lodge with great decor, Native American style art. Good toiletries. Decent percolator for coffee. No fridge but lots of ice, we didn’t have an ice bucket so had to use the bin. The only bits which let it down were that things weren’t replaced from the previous day and as we were out early never got the chance to ask for fresh cardboard cups. The bar is nice but just sells wine and cans of beer and I felt $7 for a small can which I could get in a six pack for around $14 seemed a bit of a mark up.

Second time here. Such a surreal place! Middle of nowhere but perfect! (Very little traffic on highway) Rooms are renovated and very nice. Tavern open in the evenings or sit on front stoop. People and property are great. Close to Colorado River, Lees Ferry, etc. We will make an annual tradition.

The Lodge at Vermillion Cliffs offers an experience in the American Southwest that is increasingly rare to find. Discover the feelings of the wilderness, the quiet refreshment found by taking a long pause at this traveler's waypoint. The Lodge is a front seat to the colors and brilliance of the Southwest that has been lauded and sung by artists for centuries.

The General Manager, Craig, is a generous host and friend to the guest. Craig is, quite literally, the person you are glad to find on the other end of the phone line when your car breaks down in the middle of the night on Highway 89, and who kindly collects you off the road shoulder and gives you a room for the night.

Push past the creaking front door to the rustic saloon. Order a beverage at the bar and peak out the windows to beautiful cliffsides all around. You will find you can access Wi-Fi, but you'll be right to wonder if you shouldn't disconnect fully to really understand why you came here.

A stay at the Lodge will be one you will remember for the rest of your life. A day or two in a corner of the Southwest that feels locked in ages past may entrust you with a new perspective that stays with you as you all too soon return to the noisy, bustling world beyond.

Breathtaking sunrise views at the Lodge.

I’m really grateful to the management for not only letting us know that I forgot some of my important things in the room but also they were kind enough to ship to my house.

Your act of kindness never gets ignored.
Thank you 🙏
