My husband and I spent three nights at the Rendez-Vous in the Foothills area on the outskirts of Tucson (just off N. Oracle Road, on West River Road). The host graciously upgraded us from the smallest of three apartments attached to his home to one of the larger ones. So for the price of the small studio we had a beautiful living space -- two large, open rooms with huge windows and a patio and a great view of the mountains. I'm sure that we would have been happy with our accommodations even if we'd stayed in the smaller poolside room, but the free upgrade made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked with breakfast foods ... coffee, fruit, yogurt, milk, juice, English muffins, bacon and eggs. It's a great location if you want to be outside of the city. The Rendez Vous is very very close to some other great attractions .. the beautiful old Hacienda del Sol, where we spent a wonderful evening in the courtyard listening to a guitar trio and feasting on fabulous appetizers; the Sonoran Spa at the Westward Look, another of Tucson's older resorts, where I had an incredibly delicious desert stone massage; and the 37-acre Tohono Chul Park.|

My husband & I came to Tucson for a special anniversary dinner and wanted to stay someplace nearby. When I made dinner reservations at Le Rendezvous in Tucson I saw at their website they advertised their B&B by the same name. It's approx 4 miles from the restaurant but an easy drive. We had a suite that was the size of a small apartment. It had a full kitchen (which we did not use.) It had a terrace that had a gorgeous view of the city. We were warmly welcomed and asked what time we would like to have breakfast the following morning. The owner/chef of Le Rendezvous, Jean Claude, made us a delicious breakfast of eggs benedict with a homemade hollandaise sauce. Between the fabulous dinner the night before at Le Rendezvous and the gourmet breakfast I think I gained 5 lbs!!||Jean Claude's wife, Martha is a massage therapist and recently opened a delightful, cozy looking room in their home as a massage room. ||We have stayed at all the large hotels in Tucson and Le Rendezvous B&B is a wonderful, intimate alternative to that type of lodging. You will be very pleasantly surprised.

We enjoyed our stay at the Rendezvous. They no longer serve breakfast, but the owners provided us with some breakfast foods (eggs, bacon, and muffins). There is a good grocery store nearby where we shopped. Also, you clean up after yourself. The one-bedroom place has a nice living room with a dining-room table. This is a good value. The place looks a little bit thrown together, but we were comfortable. The place is a little hard to find your first time, but then you get used to it. The location is very convenient to Tohono Chul, places to hike, and downtown Tucson. There are plenty of restaurants within about a 5-10 minute drive.

Wonderful weekend! Relaxed setting. Gorgeous mountain view. We had trouble finding the building so the gentleman we spoke with on the phone met us where we were and exported us. Amazing customer service!! There were breakfast items in the pantry and refrigerator. This was perfect so we could wake up, relax, eat-- all at our leisure. Loved our time here!

My fiance and I found this bed & breakfast on craigslist and went to their website to look up their rates and some photos. Some of the apartment-type accommodations were a little pricey, so we asked for a pool studio ($85) which is a lot cheaper but still beautiful, as it is located next to the outdoor pool. But when we called they told us that the room was unavailable, but that they would give us the Paloma Suite ($135) for the same price. So essentially they gave us accommodations that would have originally cost us $50 more/night! We were very pleased with the 3 nights we stayed there; the wonderful views and spacious accommodations definitely deserve a double thumbs up. We are planning to stay there again in the future.

We loved breakfasts and dinners out on the balcony, with a beautiful view of the mountains and the expansive grounds in an urban setting. Comfortable bed, quiet, very private. We liked having a kitchen area where we could prepare our own meals. We hope to return there next year.

A group of friends met here for dinner - a "must return" restaurant! Great wine selection and a small, intimate feel throughout the bar and dining area. Reservations highly recommended. I would have liked a bit more garlic in my escargot but, otherwise, the flavors were gorgeous. My duck was extraordinary and I can't wait to return to this lovely treasure!
