The first time I went to a Serbian Deli OMG, everyone should come. Firstly, the staff is so friendly. She is so wonderful and kind. Makes you feel like ur home. Makes u feel so welcomed. Then when u see the food! The portions are super large! You definitely won't leave hungry! The food tasted so amazing. Everything is made fresh! From the stews to the breads. The Burek is just delicious ! You just have to come and try it for yourself. They offer great food that feels taste like home!

I always love coming here. Lazic Deli has the best Cevacici (Cevaps) in Chicago! I have yet to try something here that I didn't like. Food is always fresh and cooked to order. You will be harder pressed to find a better balkan place in the Chicagoland area!

Really good food and big portions. Nice staff and the Burek is really good even if I wish it had more filling inside…it’s crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The atmosphere is cute and quiet and there is ample free parking on the street. A must try bc they also have Bulgarian cheese here though most of the food is Serbian. They also have really special desserts.

Lazic Deli catered our Slava and the food was INCREDIBLE! Aleks was lovely to work with, everything was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Cheese pita was SO GOOD (you can see in the photos there was hardly any left!) We will absolutely use them again for next slava!

I ordered a beef and onion burek with yogurt and it was wonderful. My friend ordered a sample platter and I also tried one of his cevapi sausages and a single bite of some of the other meats. I was originally going to order two items for some variety but the woman handling the orders warned me that the portions were very large. She wasn't kidding and I'm glad I only ordered the burek and shared! The portions are very generous for the price compared to some other restaurants I've visited before. Their cevapi was some of the best tasting sausage I've ever had. I almost regretted not ordering them instead but the burek was worth it too. I was too full to try any of their confections but they looked very appealing, maybe during a future visit? I'm not from the area so it will be a long time but I'm looking forward to it in any case!

Amazing authentic serbian food that is fresh and so delicious. We live 1 hour away and worth the drive. Best customer service ever. Small but so very cozy and great place to get a bite inside or outside. Only Street parking.

Delicious! This Serbian deli is a testament to quality. It's a true hidden gem. Quality meats that are processed, smoked and served on site, what more can you ask for!?

My wife and I, on a trip back from Ikea, came across Lazic Deli to escape traffic. We were promptly greeted by Tudor and the smokey smell of meats and spices. He asked if we were familiar with Serbian food and since we were not, he gave us a run down of everything on their food menu. We were also told how all the meat was processed in house by Alex, the original owner's son.

We decided on the cevapi sandwich. Though we thought it was a bit expensive we were told it contained 13 sausages! Once it arrived, we were impressed with the portions and quality. We both were unable to finish the single meal.

The deli also had a wonderful array of uncooked meats and sausages. Though mainly Serbian, they also had a decent bit of Polish food. They also had candy, chocolate, drinks and other snacks. The bread was incredible and the baked sweets were almost irresistible!

We were delighted by this deli. Not only by its quality products or its stellar service but also the old Chicago deli feeling. If you are looking for amazing Serbian food or meat for your next cookout, look no further. Lazic Deli, we will be returning!

Delicious food. I had a chance to get a burger & burek as well as some jalapeno Polish sausage. I chowed down on the burger & burek as I was driving home because I couldn't resist the smell.
