We have been meaning to try this place for a couple of years, and we finally popped in yesterday. My only wish is that we hadn't waited so long!!!

Im an Arizona boy who was raised on Mexican food and this is the best Mexican food i have found in the area...if not anywhere! Every bite reminded me of the made-with-love, homemade food I grew up eating when visiting friends homes.

The sauce on the enchiladas verde was phenomenal (I hope i can get it on the chilequiles!); the corn tortilla for the HUGE taco was hand-made, thick, and toasty (the best corn tortilla i have ever had); and my husband could not stop raving about the coktel de camerones (stuffed full if avocado chunks, cucumber, and LOTS of shrimp)--he said it was the best he had ever had. The deserts are also not to miss!

Finally, the service was FANTASTIC! Such a lovely group of ladies there; they are going to get tired of seeing me!!!

STOP and eat here if you want the real deal! Authentic Mexican food just like I remembered from 40 years ago in Mexico! Better yet, hand made corn tortillas… deliciosas! The nopales are fresh, not jarred. Highly recommend the rajas con crema (poblanos, corn and cream). You won’t want to miss their salsas either. Yum!

This is such a cute little restaurant and so glad we tried it. I had the quesobirria which was really good. The napales were perfectly done in my husband's dish. Portions were big too. There were 6 people in our group and everyone enjoyed their meal. Prices were very reasonable especially for the quality and you can tell it is all homemade. The service was great too and they even came out to ask me questions about my order to make sure it was what I wanted. We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

Stop in for a lite lunch and ordered 2 shrimp tacos with a real coke. Both were delicious and the portion was just the right sized. Sampled the fresh salsa bar and really enjoyed the green salsa. Tacos were delicious and service was great. Always make a point to stop in for authentic Mexican when ever I’m in area.

I bought five Carne Asada burritos and one Carne Asada quesadilla and five Coca-Cola’s. It cost me $133. I could’ve got all the same stuff at Filiberto‘s for less than half that. I will never eat here again and I don’t think at the prices anybody else should either!

This is a great little Mexican/American restaurant. It is small, peaceful, casual and clean. They have booth seating and a very small bar. The menu is a good (but somewhat limited) variety of authentic Mexican food as well as some American foods. I don’t want to make it sound like you won’t be able to find something great to eat but just letting you know that the menu is less extensive than what I am used to. Ok moving along: the place is super cute and comfortable. I ordered the Red Rock hamburger which had a thick slice of ham, 2 thick strips of
Bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. As per normal, it came with fries. Also I got a soda which they just bring u a can. So, the food was delicious and waitresses was accommodating. The prices are a bit high to me. I got two extra cans of soda to go and my bill was 19.00 without the tip. So, for a lunch, it’s more than I expected. Also, I know places have to be careful about COVID but when I was looking in the soda case to find what I wanted I thought I saw a jug of ice tea but the bottle was turned so I couldn’t see label. So I turned it around to see what it was and it was something else. Btw, they have soda in those old fashioned type bottles too but they are 2.50 each. But I mention that because I don’t see them often. ANYWAY getting to my point, I grabbed the two cans of Dr. Pepper. Waitress saw me go into the refrigerated case and she didn’t say not to do it. But when I got ready to pay her she asked me how many cans I touched. I only touched the 2 Dr. Peppers that I purchased plus turned that big bottle around to see it. BUT, it made me feel like she thought I was dirty. So, my suggestion is for them to lock the case (or move it behind bar) if they don’t want customers going into it. So the price and the soda comment and they way it was said —-those things are why I took stars off. I understand the obsession with sanitation and glad to know they are clean BUT don’t make customers feel bad!!!

Chips and salsa are very good. Beef taco and fish taco were good, especially the homemade tortillas. But the rice is bland and the beans are runny. Service was so so.
