My recent stay at Lake Powell Canyon Inn was an absolute nightmare. First, I discovered a roach in the bathroom, which was disgusting enough. Then, I noticed something in the bedding that I suspected might have been a bedbug. Concerned about hygiene and safety, I reported these issues to management, specifically a woman named Roberta. Instead of addressing my concerns professionally, she dismissed me outright and rudely told me I should "mind my business."
To make matters worse, during my stay, I noticed what I believe to be suspicious activity that resembled drug dealings on the property. This made me feel extremely unsafe, and it’s clear that this establishment is poorly managed and lacks any kind of oversight.
This was the worst vacation experience I’ve ever had. The lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and safety at this inn is appalling. I strongly advise others to avoid this place at all costs

I really think they forgot to really clean our room after the last person. We had been on the old all day and after having been told that the first (literally) 7 hotels were booked we found that this place had one room left. The sheets were definitely clean and there were clean towels so we stayed but didn't touch anything else. Left in the morning as soon as we could. Cute little patio in the back next to the pool that was freezing cold. The price was absolutely not worth it. But they can do that when they have a prime location and all other hotels in the area are booked.

It’s fine guys. It looks a bit worn but for that price there is nothing to complain about.
The breakfast is a Joghurt, a muffin and apple stomp.
Buy across the streets some ingredients and you have a good breakfast, though.

RUN FROM THIS MOTEL!
Save your money and looked elsewhere. Do not stay here. Sleeping in the car in a parking lot would have been better. The Circle K had better bathroom and was cleaner!
The room was old and rundown and smelled moldy. The room did not even had hot water! There is ABSOLUTELY ZERO WIFI in the rooms, only in what they have the audacity to call a "lobby" which is tiny, disgusting and not fit for more than the one person working there.
They advertise free wifi and breakfast and they have none. You can even see this "lie" on all their promo pictures... I put a picture of their sign to prove my point.
I think it was a blessing that they had no breakfast because I can only imagine how disgusting their kitchen must be!
The staff was completely useless with any issues broth to them. No accountability was taken for any of it.
They are lying and they are purposely misleading people. This is a fraud.
After my husband emailed the lady in charge about the lack of internet and their misleading advertisement he was literally bombarded by many passive aggressive emails from her. To the point that he felt harassed by the lady.
After reading the other reviews online, I could see that everyone has the same complaint and they also responded aggressively to all the bad comment (expedia, booking, hotel.com, etc).
I did not feel safe or comfortable asking for a refund because of their bad attitude and aggressiveness and racism.
They are a fraud.
If I could give this Motel no stars I would.

I booked a two-bed room. When I arrived, the staff said those rooms were sold out and could only give me a one-bed room with the same price. They even said no sorry. Plus, there was gap between two pieces of curtain which caold not be avoided.

The room smelled of mold. There are sketchy people hanging around outside during late hours doing who knows what. You will get no sleep because the music playing next to the motel is incredibly loud playing all night. Not kid friendly at all. The room is not as described online, they are purposely misleading people. If they are doing this to charge people more money then scamming is definitely their intention. So beware of that. It states “double room” however it was definitely a single. When these problems were brought to their attention all they could say was “no refunds” which I’m sure is because these are common complaints. No accountability was taken for any of it.

Really expensive for what you get - very tired room with a lot of bodges around d the shower, plumbing a d doors. AC unit was very poorly fitted (could see daylight around it), noisey and didn't really work very well.
No breakfast and only coffee facilties in the room.
Save your money and looked elsewhere unfortunately.
