Fun and charming location with a sports bar/outdoor deck vibe across from Lake Oconee. Large menu. Friendly staff. We had the onion ring tower and fish(Cod) and chips which were both outstanding!

The shrimp is fire!! 🔥 And no, I don't mean spicy. It is even good leftover!! 🍤 The waiter was super friendly & happy to be doing his job. 🤩 This place has everything you could want!! I love it!! And I definitely want to go back!! ❤️

My experience didn’t start out super great. It was a Sat night and they were busy and it felt like the staff was super stressed so the energy wasn’t great and mistakes were being made (water took a long time to come then had ice in it when I specifically asked for no ice, food was brought out but no utensils, etc…) BUT once they got their bearings the service was excellent and the staff was friendly. It’s got a laid back bar feel that has a great patio with a view of the lake (across the street). Food was timed well. We had the Korean cauliflower (which was INCREDIBLE) and fried pickles (which paled next to the cauliflower but was still good - not greasy) as appetizers and I had the impossible burger and fries which were perfect. My dessert was super rich but good though I tasted the apple dessert my friend got and it was definitely better. Overall it was a positive experience and I would recommend it!

Absolutely stellar restaurant in a place you wouldn't expect! Rarely will you ever find a restaurant in a Summer community with a view of water that pumps out good food, but here they are.
I have pretty much tried a good portion of the menu, including salads, burgers, appetizers, and the sandwiches. They all pretty much rock and deliver on quantity and flavor.
The burger is the absolute highlight of the menu. If Seth is cooking, the burger will come out flawless, juicy, and cooked perfectly to your desired temperature. My one complaint is the price of the shrimp appetizer. 6 fried shrimp was $16.00. Not worth the price, but that's for the management to set.
Overall delicious and I ate here three times in our last week. Highly recommend!

We hosted a Rehearsal Dinner for our son's wedding at The Bistro. The food was magnificent, and the service was wonderful. Angela was extremely easy to work with and made great efforts to keep me informed during the planning process. She and Jessie did a superb job taking care of our guests. We enjoyed the Rehearsal Dinner so much that we returned for Sunday Brunch the morning after the wedding! Brunch was also delicious, and Jessie was our waitress!! I would highly recommend The Bistro to anyone visiting the Lake Oconee area.

I dont come to Eatonton often but I was here on a job and I can easily say it's been a LONG time since any restaurant has made me say "oh wow this burger is REALLY good"

I would easily make this drive again to eat here. Not to mention the on point service given as well.

The food was delicious! The menu had a multitude of options. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxing. We had a small issue with one dish and it was rectified quickly and efficiently. The cheddar grits with lobster was amazing. The server was excellent with a great attitude. Will definitely go again the next time we're in town.

Stopped by for lunch today && it was AMAZING. The beer battered fish and chips were 👌🏼 I came during the week a little after opening so there was no wait && plenty of parking. I opted to sit on the screened in patio because I wanted to see Lake Oconee while I had lunch! Will definitely be back every time I’m in town!
