The best lake resort in Oklahoma! The on-site restaurant is slightly higher priced, but the quality feels like a fancy restaurant while you can sit lakeside watching speed boats and jet skis speed by. Horseback riding, camping, fishing, cabins, a hotel, multiple restaurants, boat rentals, shaved ice, and an on-site general store.

We had our company Xmas party at the Lodge. Settings were excellent, food very good and dessert was outstanding (Oreo cheesecake!!!). Service was excellent and while I didn’t stay the night, a friend did and raved about the room, view of the lake. The only complaint the whole night - for both men and women - was the restrooms. Smelled horrible and many fixtures didn’t work. And we were the only group there!

A beautiful property! Unfortunately, neglected and underfunded. Currently, in a cabin with no water. No updates or solutions. A number of families in the surrounding cabins. Could be a prized asset for Oklahoma.

This is the second time I stayed at the lodge for a conference. There was again a nice surprise gift (foldable bag) in the bed waiting. The rooms are very clean with concrete floors, what gives a modern look. The rooms also have a small balcony, overlooking the lake, with beautiful sunrise views. There are elevators what make the rooms very accessible. The rooms have polished concrete floors. The park has other lodging options, like regular cabins and floating cabins, camping and RV spots.

YOU HAVE TO PAY TO PARK ANYWHERE NEAR THE LAKE. NO FREE PARKING ANYWHERE, TUCKER TOWER /VIEWING AREAS/TRAILS.

In my opinion, save your money, go somewhere else.

75$ unexpected fees.
Cut my foot on the broken tile floors.
Windows painted shut.
Trash, pills, bugs, mold, spider webs and spiders everywhere..
Smelt like cigarettes.
Probably the last time I stay at lake murray.
I really didn't enjoy being woken up before the sun , due too construction on the office outside the window.

Light switch didn't work in the bedroom or kitchen.
A animal of some sort was trying to get inside all night long.

I should have turned around and walked away as soon as I saw the tape on the floors..

Ideal location. All rooms have balconies. We liked looking out and seeing the geese and the sunrise. We asked for a handicapped room but the showers didn't have any handles. The cement floors made the room feel less comfortable. The worst part was the service - so slow! At the restaurant there, there was a line of about 10 people waiting to check out, while the 2 girls at the register took forever. They would ask questions like. "Did you have a drink?". They need a better system, for sure.

So I've been coming here for years, and never get tired of Lake Murray. The views are beautiful, the park is incredibly well maintained, and there's no shortage of things to try or do. The lodge staff is knowledgeable, and friendly, and the lodge master has been here for years, and you can tell he's passionate about maintaining the quality of this place! It's extremely clean, and every event I've been here for has gone very smoothly, with meticulous attention given to every detail. The rooms are gorgeous, and have views to match! And most if not all of the rooms within the lodge have a balcony that opens directly to a lakefront view. I challenge anyone to come here and not feel just at least a little bit more relaxed and at peace.
