This resort is amazing!!! We planned our stay here since it was between our halfway point while traveling down south for a beach vacation, the treehouse and cabin was the most perfect place for us to stay and relax before making the rest of our drive. We stayed twice and wish both times we could’ve stayed longer. Very convenient location being 7 minutes off I-77. Will definitely be back here to stay again, also thank you Cathy for being an absolute wonderful host ♥️😊

Lake Mountain Manor was an absolute dream! We had our wedding here and it was everything we could have ever wished for and more! The Manor is beautifully decorated with modern features, so comfortable and clean. The bridal suite is stunning it made me feel like a princess!! The place was perfect to have our ceremony outdoors by the lake, our reception downstairs in the awesome party / games room complete with bar. We had enough space to sleep our wedding party of 16 in the Manor with the overflow guests staying in the nearby treehouses which was perfect since no one had to go anywhere. We ended the night surrounding the fire pit with the beautiful views of the mountains and lake complete with a full moon glowing above us. Cathy the host is absolutely wonderful! She even took the time out of her day to go out and pick up a gift that my family sent from England and deliver it to me in the bridal suite when I was getting ready. Such a lovely and thoughtful surprise which wouldn’t have happened if it wasn’t for Cathy. We also came to stay in a treehouse prior to the wedding which was very comfortable. We asked Cathy about doing a fire pit and she kindly had one ready and burning for us when we got back. If you’re looking for the perfect venue to have your wedding or even just a mountain getaway, trust me when I say this, look no further. Lake Mountain Manor couldn’t be more dreamy!! Amazing Gem getaway , stayed in Lakeview on a snowy evening , woke to deer feeding in the snow right outside the tree house . Comfortable bed , and cozy living room/kitchen combo room , w WiFi and nice smart tv . Spure of the moment trip , Cathy was very quick to respond and it was a great experience, will definitely be a repeat as soon as we can get away again , minutes from multiple restaurant s in the Princeton WV area close to interstate 77 .and close to ski resort as well .

The cutest little private get away. We stayed in the lake view treehouse cabin for the night with our two kids. The cabin was spacious, had very comfortable beds, pillows, and tasteful decor.
The kitchenette area had everything provided to cook and eat there as well. Everything was very high quality!

We also took a nice walk around the lake on the trails, paddle boarded, and our kids played in the sand of the “beach area” by the lake. A perfect placement of privacy but still close to town for restaurants. We absolutely recommend , and will be referring our friends and family!

We recently spent a weekend at this beautiful relaxing property. We rented the manor house and it was perfect. Beautiful decor and furnishings, and very clean. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The coffee bar was extra nice. The beds and bedding we’re comfortable. We had teenagers with us and they enjoyed swimming in the lake and fishing. We are already talking about renting it again! I highly recommend!

Amazing and wonderful property overall.. we stayed 3 nights in a treehouse and it felt like a luxury hotel suite… very spacious, clean, peaceful and serene! … Cathy is super sweet and made sure we were comfortable and all needs were met… highly recommend!

We have stayed at the Lake House the last 2 years. Our family & grand daughters love it. The porch is relaxing. The lake is nice. It is spacious & large enough to have my sisters & family over for an outing while we are there. Paul & Cathy are the best host & hostess. Can't wait to be back this year 2024.

A trip needed for some relaxation. My wife and I was here 2 years ago and enjoyed the time and company with others inside the main house. This time we had a treehouse to stay in. This made it very quiet, no-one was around but us during the week we stayed. we had no contact with anyone for the first couple of day just relaxing in the quiet woods, RELAXING. Then we enjoyed time seeing two of the West Virginia Swings, they took us to locations we would not have really gone to other wise. One of the swings lead to Pipe Stream Park, where they have hiking trail and Zip Lines, and Horse riding in the park and the surrounding area. The other WV Swing we got pictures of was at a Lake of sorts at the Lilly Bridge, where you can go swimming or boating as it is a park. The Treehouse we stayed in was very clean, actually, in my opinion, better than hotel rooms. We will definitely be doing this trip again. We just love the peace and hiking around the trails on this property with seeing dear and rabbits on our early morning walks.
