I stayed at Lake Erie Lodge in mid- July. This family run Lodge was very welcoming, with friendly and accommodating staff. I was traveling solo and felt very safe. The room was clean and the outdoor pool was clean and refreshing. The location is so convenient to several attractions.

An excellent family run motel close to Lake Erie. We stopped here on our way to Memphis. The rooms were massive, clean and super comfortable!

We booked a last minute trip to Erie I asked my son to find me the closest hotels to where he was staying in the lake we were going up to spend the weekend to fish the lake basically needed a place to just sleep for a few hours. I chose this place it was close, affordable and honestly I expected less for what the price was. When I arrived to check in I was greeted pleasantly by staff, check in went well he was very helpful and professional A++++ we fished till late in the night and arrived at our room and when I entered was pleased with the room, it was clean, fully functional the water pressure was good nice hot water. Fridge was clean my overall experience was great and I will gladly be booking stays in the future. Anyone with a negative comment that was thinking when they were booking a room at that cost of like $100 surely didn’t think they were getting a room at the Hilton that was $350 a night. The building might not be new and laid out in marble but the staff was top notch and our room was clean and comfortable. Would gladly recommend to my friends and family 💕

Reserved a king room for our night in advance, arrived and found out at check-in they ”ran out”. Still needed a place to stay for the night so we took what was left, and the room was incredibly dirty. Smelled of urine & cigarettes, had dead and live bugs, sheets were stained and dusty. Didn’t seem like anyone bothered to clean it in a while.

This place needs major work done to ensure rooms are clean and comfortable! I’ve stayed at motels better taken care of than this.

The staff at Lake Erie Lodge are fantastic. They treat everyone like family they all are courteous and helpful. It's a very clean and quiet place to stay and I will definitely be going back when I'm in the area.

An okay place to lay our heads for one night. Close to Bird Observatory, with a fairly quiet location in the country...woke up to a rooster crowing! Will stay elsewhere next time we're in the area. All kinds of warnings: Don't clean fish in bathtub. $150 fine if they find even one scale! Charges listed for missing towels, washcloths, etc. Linda was kind & accommodating. Just not the kind of place where you want to hang around.

You get a pretty decent size room and bathroom for a motel. I could tell it’s very popular for those fishing, but I’m just a traveling biker and just needed the night on my way back home. Only downside is that it’s out in the middle of nowhere, so the closest gas station was a 10min ride. There’s a handful of bars and restaurants nearby, but was way too tired for that.
