I paid this place a visit a year ago and have been a regular ever since. The drinks are amazing. They host tons of events every week that has something for everyone. Shout out to Jess, one of the kava tenders. She is super friendly, genuine and prompt with the drinks. The entire team is amazing. It feels like a second home to me here.

Lacuna is HANDS DOWN my favorite kava bar in Arizona— they have the best tasting drinks, and the vibes are always right! I have nothing but positive things to say about their amazing customer service as well. I wanted to take a moment to share my appreciation for Alicia. I’d be lying if I said she’s not a part of the reason why I’m a regular here! She is so kind and attentive, and has truly made my experience at Lacuna feel personal and valued.

Was my first time drinking or going to a Kava bar, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Atmosphere is very chill and wooey, the staff are super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, and the quality of the drink I ordered (strawberry double strength) was both delicious and worked much better than I expected as far as the effects of kava go. I am now looking forward to a more relaxed long cross country flight.

To the waitress who served me, forgive my haste in rushing out to the airport and for the inadequate tip. I will be returning here in December, and if you are still working here or not, I will make up for it and pass it along. Thank you making my first kava experience a great one 😁

Super sweet vibe, transformed this classic bar venue into a holistic beverage/community center. They serve all different types of drinks from kratom, kava and herbal concoctions. Amazing renovation of historic landmark. Great service and offer tons of music events, classes and community building events. I love it here.

A very interesting place. This is the first time I ever drank Kava and I got mine infused with cacao. It had a nice chocolatey taste to it. The ladies serving the drinks were very nice and very knowledgeable. The patrons were equally nice. I shot the breeze with a young lady and her boyfriend about our live of blistering hot Phoenix temperatures and travel to other places, and a gentleman outside about my time in the military. I'd come here again, next time I'm in the Phoenix area.

My boyfriend and I LOVE this place! The drinks are phenomenal, the atmosphere is chill and has a welcoming vibe. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Cool events happen here, too: Painting, yoga, sound bath healing, open mic night, live DJs. This place is a must if you're downtown strolling through Roosevelt Row.

Lacuna is my favorite 3rd space; Great drinks, awesome people, and AMAZING service! Astro Chats are my favorites events to attend, but every-time I show up it’s a great time. I highly recommend if you wanna have a delightful, drama-free experience!

first time here and i really enjoyed it!! the environment is very welcoming and everyone was very friendly. Jess thoroughly explained everything and answered our multitude of questions— she is amazing!! would definitely recommend to come here and get work done, get to know friends more, and relax!
