All Around Terrible. No soap in the room. Toilet ran and made loud noises all night. Curtain was broken at top of window and could not keep out bright light because it hung down. At 11:40am a woman came knocking and screaming from the hallway. Doris was so awful! I set up a 12:00pm late check out the night before. She came to my room at 11:40am yelling from outside my door that it was past our check out time. She laughed and interrupted me when I said I originally requested a 1:00pm checkout but was only approved for a 12pm. She said the hotel never does 1:00pm (which they have done for me before). She said her records showed I had until 11:30am unless I called the front desk to request more time. What? She told me I had 15 minutes to leave. My goodness! I had a terrible headache and had checked in at 2:30AM the night before. Clearly your employees do not know the meaning of the word kindness? Then Doris had the nerve to wish me a Merry Christmas when I saw her at the front desk and asked her name when I left.

The bad: I booked a reservation to stay because I helped one of my family members move across the country. My booking was through Expedia. I had called ahead because we arrived on the day of my reservation into Tulsa at 2am and I needed to see if they could accommodate checking me in early that morning (reservation was not until 4pm that day). The gentleman on the phone was super friendly and said he could accommodate but I would have to pay for the extra night and I was ok with that. I arrived and he advised that he booked me in the same room as my Expedia reservation and to come down the next morning to get my key updated. I arrived at the front desk the morning of to have my key updated and the front desk lady gasped, rolled her eyes, sighed and scolded me like I had not done anything to avoid the problem. I explained to the lady that I had done everything I could and traveled over three days and two thousand miles. She advised the gentleman booked me in a different room. If it was this much of a problem I would have booked somewhere else. She did finally make the accommodation to keep me in the same room at no extra cost, the executive suite "that is not so executive". She did provide a resolution but her customer service skills need major improvement. - no where near the "hospitality" that can be found in Oklahoma.

The room I am in has ceiling damage, noticeable stains all over the place and the overall cleanliness looks like the cleaner walked in the room, changed the sheets and said "meh, looks good enough for the next guest". The room could of been cleaned and met my expectations if someone would have wiped the room down with a cleaning cloth and wiped away the dirty spots..

No signs or rodents, roaches, or bugs like the previous reviews left from other guests.

Usually La Quinta's are a clean place with friendly staff - maybe another one in the area would be better next time.

Hotel was nice, but the front desk staff need a lesson in customer service. There was confusion over the pet policy and how much we were going to be charged. The website and the woman we made the reservation with said it was only $25 per night for up to 2 pets. But when we got there, they told us that it was $20 per pet per night. Had we known that we wouldn't have made the booking. In the end, they charged us $25 but made a note on the bill that we complained about it... very classy.

We stayed in this hotel shortly after it was built back in Spring 2017. (The pool was being built during our first stay!) Back then there was no pet fee and the breakfast was exceptional. The room back then was reasonably priced so we'd always stay there at LaQuinta BA numerous times a year whenever we'd go down to Broken Arrow/Tulsa to visit family. The pool was always clean and beautifully lit up at night, the hotel lobby, hallways, breakfast area, elevators and rooms were exceptionally kept up.| |THEN LaQuinta sold out to Wyndham and things started going downhill. The rates were raised quite high, pet fee jumped to $20, the breakfasts weren't anything like they were before and the customer service went downhill. Before Wyndham took over, they had flavored creamer for coffee and different types of teas. The breakfast had always been well-stocked and kept clean BUT when Wyndham took over it was obvious that there had been a MAJOR management change - not for the good. During our last stay at LaQuinta BA in Nov 2018, I was very angry when the front desk allowed kids to run across the floor above us, screaming and dragging furniture across the room. When we complained - over the phone and then I went down to talk with management as it wouldn't stop for hours - we were rudely told that they would NOT say anything to the occupants of the room above us. The manager and front desk clerk said rudely that we should "be tolerant" of small children. Not only children doing that above us but loud music was tolerated as well. We couldn't even hear our TV it was so loud. Management wouldn't let us move to a different room. They adamantly refused to inform those above us that they were disturbing others. So we stopped staying there - for years. (and yes, I contacted Wyndham about the complaint and never received any communication back from them.)|Present day - we just returned from LaQuinta BA after staying two nights. We had gotten a good rate on the room so thought we'd try it as the reviews hadn't been bad. Our room on the 4th floor was clean, the premises were clean. There is a very nice area for pets designated with ample place for our dog to smell and do his/her business. Unfortunately, some people don't pick up after their dog but that is not the hotel's fault. The area isn't where people are coming/going and it's perfect for a designated pet area. |The pool was closed as it is after Labor Day (expected). |The exterior doors require a card key for entrance and this is high on my list for security. I never felt unsafe there. |The bed was comfortable. I like the smaller square pillows.|The air conditioning worked well and was quiet.|Internet worked very well - no issues.|TV is large and has ample stations.|No clock in the room - you'll have to use your phone.|Microwave and small refrigerator with a coffee maker.|LOTS of electrical outlets in the room which is very convenient.|The carpet where it connects to the hardwood floor area is worn and a little shredded at the seam. Of course, I remember when this hotel was brand new so it's to be expected that there has been some wear/tear after 7 1/2 years.|The walk-in shower is wonderful - enclosed in sliding glass doors. It's huge and the water pressure/shower experience was great. The bathroom is fairly large and well-stocked.|The elevators were timely.|This time it was quiet and serene in the hotel. No yelling, no loud music even though the parking lot was very full both Friday and Saturday nights.|The check-out front desk clerk this morning was pleasant and even said thank you to us.|Everything was fine with the stay except two things - |1. When checking in on Friday, the front desk clerk didn't speak English well. |2. The breakfast was a HUGE disappointment! Only lukewarm scrambled eggs, very greasy link sausage, waffle maker (the waffle mix machine wasn't working yesterday morning so we had to hunt someone down at 8:50 a.m. No one had stocked the breakfast area recently. Once I finally got the waffle mix, I had to take my fork to remove the waffle as there was no tongs there. The syrup was almost gone. The rest was like Continental Breakfast and pretty much what you'd get at a Quality Inn, etc. Nothing special. The tables in the lobby weren't cleaned off. The two tall trash cans near the doors of the breakfast area were nearly overflowing both mornings and that may be the reason why there was trash left on some of the tables in the lobby area. |The exterior of the hotel was clean and well-kept. It is a safe area and I never felt uneasy while staying there. There have been numerous buildings built around there since 2017. Wendy's and Steak N Shake are easily walked to, among other businesses and there are other hotels as well up on that hill. The view from the "city view room" is nice especially at sunset. The hotel is easy to get in and out of. The parking is kind of difficult to find a spot if the hotel is full.|Overall, I'm glad we gave it another try but we'll only stay there if the rates aren't crazy high.

Needs some major renovations.
The ceiling in the room and bathroom were messed up and falling in. The room wasn’t very clean. There was something on the inside of the shower curtain that looked like a booger.🤢
The bar was shut down completely.

Outstanding customer service. Room was very clean and spacious. Staff were very helpful. Dog area large with lots of grass and waste receptacles. Need poop bags though. I brought my own. We have stayed four times and will definitely be back.
