When I booked this hotel I was very nervous as I had been reading the other reviews talking about rude/unhelpful staff, bad breakfast, even bed bugs! However we really had no other option at this point due to other hotels already being booked up for the family size I had.

We arrived and immediately the man at the front desk greeted me and got me checked in without any issues. We got our luggage unloaded and onto the cart to take to our room. When we arrived to our room we inspected to make sure no issues were found and thankfully everything was clean and tidy (with the exception of some socks and Cheetos left behind under the fold out couch).

We woke early the next morning to get breakfast and they had all the standard la quinta complementary breakfasts items: Sausage links, waffles, powdered eggs, cereal, juice, & coffee. It was good nothing fantastic ofcourse but as I said your standard hotel breakfasts.

We asked for extra towels and wash clothes and the staff immediately got us some with no complaints or issues. When we needed some pool towels they got us those aswell with no issues.

Now for the most part everything was great (apart from my mother in laws snoring that kept me up each night but thats not the hotels fault lol). The cons I would say are in the room there was one smaller TV that while I guess you could say was “centered” for the room since we had the bugger two queen plus pull out couch room id say the room needed a second TV. And the pool is needing a remodel as tile was missing, lights were flickering, and the biggest thing was a pool light was loose from the socket under the water and freely floating in the water which stressed me out not knowing if the lights would come on and electrocute all of us. Also the pool ladder needs to be replaced as it was wobbly and had what looked like electrical tape holding it together on both handles.

Over all though we had a great stay and didn’t experience any of the problems these other reviews complained about which makes me wonder how their attitudes were towards the staff to begin with.

The comfort of the room was great. The fire alarm for the building went off at 6 am. False alarm thinking kids might pull it. I stayed two nights first night checked in they had hard time with my reservation made line for me by my wife. She used her name and mine for guests, but they did not wish to let me in the room. Checked out that day. Had to stay another night, same problem. We used points both nights you think they might take care of us better.

The room was very clean, and I especially liked that there were five pillows and every one had a different firmness to them. So I was able to sleep in comfort. The wifi is strong and no issues. The shower is good and strong. The towels were soft to the touch and didn't have that disgusting smell of bleach. The tv didn't offer much channels to watch when I was in the room for some down time, and the mini fridge was set so high that my soft drinks froze. I just adjusted the dial; no biggie.

Very clean - sheets and towels do not smell of bleach (and that’s a good thing) very courteous and helpful staff. We love laQuintas! And no smoking hotel wonderful. Breakfast was good coffee could be hotter. Staff very responsive to requests. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spacious and Clean room! Lots of places dont offer clean room anymore. Sad its the barier of entry for me. Nice for La Quinta. If you staying in fort sill its a best value. Only paid 80 bucks all in on a weekday. Very clean and close to the base

BED BUG BED BUGS BED BUGS!!!

This place gets the lowest rating I’ve ever gave an establishment. We were traveling on a whim due to a sudden death in the family. We booked the hotel the night before, paid and everything. Upon arriving at the hotel, the man at the desk was not very friendly at all. However, we got checked in and got to our room. Keep in mind we were traveling with a 7 month old baby and bed time was approaching fast. We got him to the room and laid down, although we noticed the beds were poorly made we were exhausted. My husband was sitting in a chair in the room and as I went to shower he called me in to where the beds were. THERE WAS A BED BUG CRAWLING ON OUR BED. My brother checked their bed to which we found more bugs as well. We put everything in the corner, woke the baby and then was told they would move us to another room. Before we moved our stuff in we went ahead and did a bed check in the new room.. THERE WERE BED BUGS IN THERE AS WELL we took photos and videos of it all. When the new guy on shift was approached about it he said they wouldn’t give us refund. We grabbed our bags and thankful were able to go stay somewhere else for the night. By far the nastiest hotel I have ever experienced and I would not recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay.

The bed was awful, we barely got any sleep. Everything thing else was really good. The breakfast was good,the staff was very helpful and nice.The pool was a bit old , but clean and warm. Very little water pressure in the shower,but we made it. Had plenty of shampoo and body wash and moisturizer.

Room was really nice. Breakfast was good n good hours. Staff was great. Only beef, we didn't have a hair dryer. The first time I decided to not bring mine. Lol. But I don't blame the place if people are stealing them. Really people?! Who steals a motel hair dryer?!
