I did not love this hotel. The main reason was the smell. Once I got to my floor and the elevators opened, the smell was overbearing. I think it may have been animal urine? Big sign that says 2 pets allowed per room so that’s my assumption.

My room was ok, beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were remodeled and relatively nice.

Didn’t eat breakfast there because the smell grossed me out.

I wouldn’t return.

We can count on La Quinta to be a reliably clean and safe place to spend the night. Elk City was a halfway point for our road trip and I booked within the hour of arrival. Staff was friendly and experienced. There is a bar open in the evening and hot breakfast in the morning. The building and room were clean. Parking was available close to the door. The fitness center is basic but also clean and tidy. The outdoor pool was not open at the time.

The Front desk staff are excellent and the location is great right off of I-40. Nice hot breakfast, biscuits & gravy, make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage patties and links. Nice big clean rooms. They also have a small beer and wine bar that was nice to relax at.

Hotel room was very nice, the ladies at check in and check out were very friendly and helpful and my room was very quiet. The night clerk was very helpful and gave me a great recommendation for an Italian restaurant located just across I-40 from the hotel. ||The hotel has a small wine/beer bar in the lobby open from 6-9 which was a nice place to sit and have a refreshment. ||I would definite stay at La Quinta the next time I travel through Elk City.

Nevash and Janet made our stay wonderful! They were helpful, courteous, and professional. The rooms are clean and spacious. This hotel was much nicer than another we paid more for on our stay. Highly recommended!

I would have given this hotel a better rating but their pet policy is outrageous. Your pets can't be on the beds or furniture and if there is any hair from the pets, they can charge you extra. NOT pet friendly. If this fact had been posted on the website, I NEVER would have stayed here. ||The rooms were clean, but after requesting first floor room a week earlier when I reserved, I was told there were no first floor rooms available. Just a horrible experience when you are traveling with pets.

Very welcoming and friendly front desk, in a modern and clean lobby. Rooms are clean and decorated in a modern way. There is a bench at the end of the bed that has a bolster pillow, making it into a couch - very clever. Stayed there twice - one room was a bit smaller and did not have a side chair, but had the couch and a desk chair. Hotel is clean as are the hallways and breakfast area. Breakfast is standard LQ fare with hot and cold cereals, biscuits and gravy (it IS the south), waffles and toast, eggs and sausage. Beer/wine bar in the evening becomes the breakfast area in the morning, which is roomy and clean. ||Very yummy Italian restaurant across the street with surprisingly sophisticated offerings. Dicey intersection, despite being not heavily trafficked. Gas station across the street from the hotel. Price range is reasonable. Easily accessible as it is right off I-40, but no traffic noise. Little to know walk-by foot traffic; parking lot felt safe for our loaded vehicle.

This hotel was super easy to get to from the highway. Lots of well kept green area for the dog we had along. Check in was ok check out was super simple. Our room was clean and comfortable. The bed was good but the pillows were not. If you're able take your own. Outlets were lacking both in number and wones that worked. Breakfast was the usual fare for hotel breakfast but the hot foods were hot and cold were cold. The coffee was really good. I would recommend.
