Rooms are clean with a light, fresh scent (from cleaning). Beds are comfortable, not soft, not hard. This is a pet-friendly facility, but if I hadn't seen the dogs, I never would have known. Breakfast was warm, not hot, but tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely consider staying again if in the area

This La Quinta is very nice and in a peaceful location. They are constantly working on maintenance and upkeep of the building. The grounds are well-maintained with plants and flowers. They are pet-friendly so they book you with a room near an exit so you can get outside easily with your dogs. They are very smart… pine straw is spread all around behind bushes to make walking trails for you and your dogs. Pine straw prevents growth of weeds and grass and helps keep mud from forming when it rains. They even put out the trash can and little poop baggies for you to clean up after your dogs. The pool area, weight room area, and breakfast area are very nice. Ohhh and the sound-proofing in the rooms is excellent ! You can hear people out in the halls but when you are in your room you cannot hear your next door neighbors. When I was out in the hall I could hear my neighbor talking loudly, yelling and cussing all day long on the phone, and he had his TV on loudly the whole time. But inside my room I could Not hear him at all. What a great experience here! I love this hotel !
The staff were all very nice and friendly, very helpful.
The beds were soft and fluffy, so comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

We stayed in room 129. The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke, I alerted the staff and asked to moved to another room, I was offered room spray to mask the odor and told that if I would have wanted a different room I would have needed to ask before checking in. I asked how was I supposed to know before check in that my room would smell of cigarettes, she shrugged and gave me a look like oh well. She said all she could do was offer me a deodorizer. The pillows and sheets also smelled of smoke. It was a horrible experience. Ask to check your room before you actually check in.

Great place to stay. They are constantly cleaning the inside and the outside is groomed perfectly. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is great, especially the cranberry juice. It is strong, not diluted like other hotels. Give it a try and see for yourself.

I never leave a bad review, but I decided that I would have appreciated seeing an honest review before booking. I always appreciate a hard floors instead of carpet, but here the floor was filthy and sticky. The bathroom floor was filthy and had dirt and hair and the bathroom was old and had mildew everywhere. The room was muggy and sticky. The sheets and bedding were not white and questionable whether it had been washed. The only positive is that the mattress was comfortable, the breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly.

This isn’t the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I feel safe and the front desk staff are nice. But.. when people say the rooms aren’t clean.. trust that. These hotel rooms are not clean. The floors are sticky and dirty and just feel really nasty. The counters are not clean and the bedding just feels ick to the touch and I can only hope it’s actually clean. This hotel could be doing so well and had so much potential if they could make sure the bedrooms are actually being properly cleaned. If cleanliness is important to you then I suggest spending a little more and staying somewhere else.

The first room we got smelled like cigarettes, but the staff quickly got us into a different room. The rooms are clean and quiet, though the AC is a little loud (but hey, at least it works well!). The hotel is pet friendly, but there were no dogs barking or anything, so that's good. The mini waffles at breakfast was the best part: LOVED THEM!
