La Quinta was a decent place to stay—nothing fancy, but it got the job done. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which is always a plus, and I appreciated that they made check-in quick and easy. Now, let’s talk about the hotel itself. It’s definitely due for some renovations. The décor looks like it hasn’t been updated in a while, and some areas could use a deep refresh. That being said, the bed was surprisingly comfy, and after a long day, that’s really what matters most. The water was hot, the shower had decent pressure, and despite the outdated feel, everything worked fine. If you’re looking for a luxurious stay, this isn’t it. But if you need a clean, comfortable spot to lay your head, La Quinta does the trick. A little remodeling would take it up a notch, but for now, it’s a solid budget-friendly option.

Buyer Beware!

While traveling the wife logged into her Wyndham account and looked for a less expensive Hotel. She booked two days at the La Quinta, the details included a Fridge and Microwave. we stopped for food and went to the hotel. No Fridge No Microwave! upon calling the desk, the staff was like oh well those rooms are out of commission. When she mentioned "Wyndham" she was told they are Independent and Not Wyndham.
She called Wyndham resulting in, there will be and investigation (about two weeks to complete).
As we were checked in and it was late we were not going to check out and lose the money paid.
The Bed was okay.
During the shower the water backed up in the drain. Not good.
A huge crack in the mirror in the Bathroom. Safety?
I went to one of the two Ice machines, it was broken. I went to the lobby and was told go to the other one. I am sorry they have a computer and printer they could make a sign explaining Out of Order go to the Ice machine at location such and such.
Breakfast was simple not much selection, burn your waffles, dry cereal, oatmeal, make toast, muffins and bagels. Juice and moderately bad coffee.
After Breakfast we checked out, we will be watching for the return of the charge for the second night.

They are not pet friendly as Wyndham says when you call to book. They will also charge you a pet fee even if you didn’t have a pet in the room.
Never signed anything agreeing to this or mentioned it anywhere. Called and the woman hung up and refused to answer my calls to find a resolution. She continued to argue. Ended up disputing because the professionalism and resolution was handled so poorly. The room was very decent for the price. The location is a little questionable so I definitely recommend locking your car and taking in your belongings. I also found out from the customer in front of me at check in that they do not have any memory for their security cameras, so nothing is recorded. They’re live only. So good luck with them being helpful there. Will not be back as they never refunded a deposit I was owed

The room was cleaned, but the door knob was a bit loose, and the shower pressure was off.
The service was horrible.
They didn’t even clean our room for a day. The other day we had to ask the front desk for them to clean our room.
We’re not going to stop back at this place.
It was just bad.
It’s not the “worst ever”, but we did have an overall bad experience.

I may have gotten the last room in the hotel but for the first time ever, I refused to stay. The front desk reversed charges without issue, and considering how busy it was I was satisfied with that. In the room, all the lights were on when I got there, which was odd - like it was recently occupied. Rug filthy, sheer curtains on ground floor -we tried to cover the window with the bedspread but still felt people could see in Old food container on desk chair, door obviously damaged with the lock about to fall off, no chain on door, and the door barely latching. I didn't want to sit on the couch. I have high tolerance for discomfort, but when it came down to having to clean the toilet seat before use, I left. I know they were overbooked. it was a rough, dark, crowded night for driving. Most hotels were sold out. and available rooms ran from $350+. I heard the desk telling people no rooms were available. Since the hotel was fully booked, some of the rooms must have been acceptable. I ended up 15 miles away at twice the price sharing a king bed with my sister. I'm hoping to never drive or stay in phoenix again. I gave three stars for service because the concierge was doing his best and was cooperative. I've been in worse locations so other than room condition the location was acceptable.

I reserved this hotel in advance using my points. I flew into Phoenix from Alaska at around 12:30am just to sit In the car rental line for 2 1/2 hours. Got to this hotel around 3:30am just for the front desk lady to tell me that they are privately owned and it’s a first come first serve basis and she had no rooms left. Of course at 3:30 AM I didn’t know where to go: she did inform me that she had one room open tho: just couldn’t use my points for it. So we had to pay cash for 1 night and then in the morning I can call Wyndham to try and get my points back.
Now about this ROOM! This was the most nasty laquinta I’ve ever been in.
My boyfriend and I slept on top of the covers with ALL of our clothes and shoes on. We didn’t even want to do that but didn’t have a choice. There was hair all under the blankets, the walls were nasty and never been wiped down, the bathroom counters didn’t look like they were ever even wiped down. We didn’t even want to touch the light switch because it was so nasty. The couch was stained and just looked like it needs to be hauled to the dump, there was a lot of stains on the floor.. this was the worst laquinta stay ever hands down.

Do not ask for special requests...
We had a very horrible experience in October. Van was towed away and my daughter was threatened by security guard. Resolution has not been completed. Will check on our legal stand on what to do.
Came back in January for 8 days. Asked 4 days in a row for room to be cleaned because of having a 2 year old. It is cool here, so wanted to get in a hot tub because of health issues. Hot tub so hot you can't even get in. Place is a horrible smell with drugs...
The New GM and those at the desk was very unwilling to take care of the situation. Do not recommend this place at all. We were supposed to get 50% off, and they refused to. Any Top people, please get a hold of me about this horrible situation!

Horrible place. Dirty room. Carpet was stained from one end to the other. Mildew and mold all over the bathroom. Creepy people hanging out in the parking lot all night. They looked like drug dealers and pimps. And then to top it off they haven't returned my $50 deposit after 2 months and claim they did. It hasn't showed up on the last two bank statements.
