Good bagels 🄯 I got the Sunrise w/ bacon they didn’t tell me it didn’t come with Cream cheese. I ate the first half and decided to go get a side of cream cheese. WOW! $1.83 for a side of cream cheese? It’s still good without it but damn that’s an expensive side. They didn’t even offer to just give me enough to wipe onto the 2nd half. Meh. I wouldn’t go out of my way exactly to come here again. But I wouldn’t pass it up if I’m in the area. Also why you asking for tips? There was no service i literally had to pick up my food from the counter.

I had the opportunity to visit this establishment one morning while in the area. It is a charming, intimate venue. The customer service was exceptional and the location was bustling with activity. The lox bagel I purchased was arguably one of the finest bagels I have ever had. I also ordered several additional bagels to take home. They are, by far, the best bagels I have had in the valley. I would highly recommend this establishment.

I love a mom and pop bagel shop as much as the next person, so when this popped up on my Google maps search for a local breakfast joint, I had to give it a try.

First off, their coffee equipment is pretty ancient technology and could use an upgrade. Their espresso machine is a little home unit, so don’t expect them to pump out drinks quickly.

Second, the Wildcat bagel sandwich was a pretty big letdown. The bagel itself had the perfect crunch to squish ratio, but the garlic in the everything seasoning was burnt during the toasting, which meant that acrid flavor overpowered the rest of the sandwich. The two tomato slices and two flattened bits of precooked bacon didn’t merit an $8 price tag, in my opinion.

It’s a cozy little shop, and although it was busy on a Sunday morning at 9am, the wait was reasonable. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. I just wasn’t close to being wowed by the sandwich.

Edit for the owner’s response: I didn’t request a double or triple toasting, so why it came out burnt is beyond me. And btw, everyone in the coffee business knows you don’t go Swiss, you go Italian šŸ˜‰. Prego!

I am a very picky person and critique really hard. Not all mom and pop places are great. Kokobelli’s ufff is so delicious. This place is always packed. They usually have a line that’s goes outside, so be prepared to wait. It’s worth it though in my opinion.

I usually go with the Southwest Turkey and have had it on different bagels with the light red pepper cream cheese. They are generous with their ingredients and will give a loaded sandwich. Their tuna salad sandwich is divine. Their salad isn’t overly water or overly thick with mayo or whatever they make it with. They had a Lox sandwich, the salmon one. I don’t see it on there anymore but that was really good. Again right amount of ingredients. My kids and husband have had the turkey club, BLT and veggies and they ate their entire sandwich. They tend to leave their food but they didn’t.

I call them desert bagels. The sugar, the Nutella, the honey, the pb&j is to die for. I had a gastric sleeve and will force myself to eat them that’s how good they are.

As far negative. The drinks are ok. They got rid of their mango or watermelon whatever it is and those were the best. So womp to that. I didn’t and don’t like the soups. They lack flavor and can use some sprucing up. They also have punch cards for everything , the bagels, the drinks and the combos. I always buy but never carry three different punch cards because they make my wallet bulky. Y’all need to condense to one punch card. I hate when everyone’s looking at me and I have 6 combos and 3 additional drinks and bagels I take home and the lady is fumbling trying to punch each different ticket. The prices are ok, it can get pricey but I feel like it’s worth it because how big the sandwich’s are and so tasty.

I just moved house a few miles down the road and I found this place. I wouldn't have driven there on a whim before now, so I'm grateful for the move brought me in close proximity to these bagels. This place is amazing!

I went in for a breakfast bagel, which was fabulous, but I then also purchased a dozen plus two cream cheese options AND a pastrami bagel for my lunch today. I felt like I was either in South Pasadena or NYC. The bagels are so so good!

Also, I know this is probably not important to most people, but so many cafes have only one size fountain drink (small) that I have to fill up repeatedly. This place has a large drink option. That's important to me.

It was crowded with people placing orders, most for takeout, but the person taking my order was patient with me and told me to take my time and ask questions if I needed to. I adore this place!

Great family run breakfast/lunch spot. Tried Kokobelli on a whim after seeing them reviewed on Insta. The bagels did not disappoint. Chewy, soft and flavorful. I got a half-dozen w/cream cheese and 2 breakfast sandwich bagels. The French toast bagel is a hit! So is their "chonga" bagel (an everything bagel w/cheese).

Used to come here until I found hair in my bagel and their employees weren't wearing anything to cover facial/armpit hair. Now I come to the review page when I'm bored to see the owner's disrespectful and frankly quite immature responses to their customers, slowly killing their own business, just for fun! Do miss their iced coffee though.

Update: they responded saying they knew me because I ā€œfound it and they made me a new bagelā€, but I have only ever gotten takeout and have not been back since. I didn’t even email them myself, my friend had a similar experience about a week later and emailed them and they handled it so poorly it was shocking. So no shock their response claims no responsibility either! And consistent with the rest of their responses as well. Please support small businesses but there are certainly small business with better service given back to the community to give your money to! Deflection and gaslighting is a common manipulation scheme, be careful, folks!
