I am currently checked into this hotel. The area is okay and so is the exterior of the hotel. What I am trying to figure out as I sit in this room is how the heck the housekeeper that cleaned this room is still employed. The maintenance man too. Don’t get me wrong the room itself is decent but the person that cleaned it needs a new line of work. The vent on the ac is covered with dust. Do you know what dust is comprised of? Google it and be disgusted!! The doors and walls are disgustingly filthy. How can the tape holding the evacuation route be dirty? The bathroom is super gross. It smells wet and moldy in here. The chair by the bed has cigarette burns and stains from god knows what. There are small insects flying around (possibly fruit flies). There are also stains on the covers. Note to owners: Stop paying people to be lazy. Your housekeepers are getting free money from you to do very little or nothing. There are too many people that need jobs right now. People that actually want to work and take pride in the job they do. Don’t allow this to continue. It will literally ruin your business. Do you want to re-flag your hotel? I’m sure the franchise agreement you signed requires you to keep the property in a manner that is consistent with the franchises standards. Do yourself a favor and hire a few people that actually work for the paycheck they receive.

I like the front desk guys but I don't know what's going on with this hotel. We had to get put into 3 different rooms. The 1st Room was a smoking Room when we had booked a non smoking Room, The 2nd Room our daughter said she saw a bed bug under her sheets, and the 3rd Room the PVC piping under the sink was installed wrong, when we turned on the water to the sink the water just fell on the floor. Since we had come back to the room in the evening the hotel didn't have anybody available to come and fix the problem. My wife put a trash can under the sink and because the pvc pipe wasn't Installed properly and the whole thing fell on to the floor. I had to do my best and fix the plumbing myself so we can use the sink.

Stayed 3 nights. Our first room on the ground floor, the bottom of the tub was brown, then the heater/ac shorted out and burned the wall. We moved upstairs and the room seemed much cleaner. Our room cards had to be reactivated 3 times during our stay. The killing blow was breakfast our last day when I looked into the bottom of my coffee and found debris from an obviously unclean pot. Unfortunately I don't know of any hotel in Griffin that is decent.

Rooms smell as soon as you walk into them. Evidence that there was smoking in our non-smoking room given that the smoke detector was completely disconnected and hanging from the wall the moment we walked in. Burn marks all over the tub walls. Filthy. Absolutely filthy. Toilet paper holder ripped out of the wall, floor is sticky and turned a towel completely black when cleaning attempted—same thing with the tv screen and microwave. Swisher sweets wrappers all over the parking lot, IYKYK. Tv doesn’t function beyond a single channel. Sirens outside every 30 mins or so. Remote control has no battery backing, 3 of the 8 outlets work. Our room had a connecting door to the neighbors which was wide open when we walked in. Mold all over bathroom ceiling.

Folks, the list goes ON. -45/10. Do not recommend.

There is a homeless woman living in the lobby with a baby. I had women knock on my door in the middle of the night asking if I had drugs. I’m a very quiet person but had someone knocking on my walls all night long yelling at me to keep the noise down. It was extremely dirty. TV didn’t work. Pool has been filled with cement.

Do not go here. If you have a problem and complain, they will put you out and keep your money. I paid for two nights. The toilet was stopped up and when I told them they said to come downstairs to get a new room. When I got there they asked us to leave. Their reason was we didn't report the toilet do it caused damaged. There was no damage. Police was called and agreed with us but they took out a trespassing warrant on us, which they were advised against.

The manager of this hotel seems to have multiple employees who both work and sleep at the hotel. One of his employees has threatened to fight with us on multiple occasions due to “loud noises”. Keep in mind this is an employee banging on the walls telling us to keep the noise down at 6:00 - 7:00 PM or else “we can settle this outside”. After confronting the employee in front of his manager, he completely ignored everything we had to say stating this isn’t your house so you just have to deal with it. Our rooms had also not been so much as looked at by house keeping for well over a week even after we called scheduling a cleaning.

We stayed at Quality Inn for 5 nights while upgrading their TV system to DirecTV. Everyone there is so polite and easy going that we felt right at home! Rooms are comfortable & the TVs look great! 😉 Premium channels like Starz/Encore. Just wish we were there during a warmer season to use the pool! Haha|I’d stay there again next time I’m in Griffin!
