The rooms were clean and had plenty of pillows. The bed was soft. I slept on a king size mattress. The room was great, it's just the walls were thin and could not sleep well when I had stayed because some children screamed at the top of their lungs all night and so did the parents. They kept screaming at the kids to go to bed but it sounded like they were not in the same room as the children and would go in to scream and then slam the door

The room in this 1 star inn was nicely decorated, well furnished, and very comfortable. Kelly, the front desk manager, is very nice and very helpful and seems to be there all the time. My room was easy to get to and very quiet. I stayed 5 nights and will go back again. I am handicapped and needed a ground floor room. There is no daily maid service but is available as needed. My only complaint is that the room needed the floor thoroughly cleaned. Dust and dirt accumulate in the corners and in the armchair. It wasn't filthy or anything, but it does show a lack of attention. Great TV. Nice towels and sheets. There are lots of pillows which I like. The grounds around the motel are non-existent, and junk is stored under the outside staircase. Shabby outside but nice room.

This hotel wasn't my first choice in Payson, and it wasn't anyone else's apparently. I'm not complaining so much as just hopefully informing. The service and front desk lady were perfectly fine for a $60/night room, but over priced at $120. I did find it ironic, given the "cleanliness" comments by so many that there was a used cleaning rag left on the microwave. My only other irritation was that the TV program information was in Spanish and I needed a code to change to our native language. Despite this, I prefer it to a motel 6.

My first time visiting Payson Arizona being a Chicago Native I can say I love this hotel very clean the customer service representative are very respectful and friendly and courteous and professional I recommend all my family members and friends to check out this Hotel I want to say thank you to the people who control the front desk of the hotel for there hospitality service 😎🙏❤️

Best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The owners are polite, courteous, and helpful beyond measure. Rooms are clean, and stocked. Will definitely recommend.

Kelly at the front desk was amazing!!! I had accidentally booked a room that was not dog friendly but she was able to help me get a room that was. The room was so cute and the two beds were perfect for all of us! The location was great, close to local diners (Pinon Cafe is a MUST go to for an amazing breakfast) and only a 25 minute drive away from Water Wheel Falls. Definitely would love to come back for our nice little getaway from the Phoenix heat with my bf and my furbabies!

My experience at the knights inn was incredibly disappointing. The room was filthy and old, with a pervasive stench that made it unbearable to stay in.

Despite the sweltering heat, the air conditioning was not functioning, making the room unbearably hot and stuffy. Lobby says no smoking/vaping, however it smells like if a dirty adult arcade was converted into a hotel.

To make matters worse, when I requested to cancel my reservation upon arrival due to the unsanitary conditions, I was informed that it was not possible.

This lack of flexibility and understanding from the management further added to my frustration.

Overall, I would strongly advise against staying at the knights inn. The conditions were unacceptable, the amenities did not work, and the customer service was lacking. Save yourself the trouble and find accommodations elsewhere.

We had to change rooms as the first room was filthy. We didn’t even feel comfortable sitting anywhere.
The second room wasn’t much better. The heater didn’t work so we were cold and couldn’t sleep. Besides the rooms being filthy, the rooms looked like a third rate hotel in the ghetto. We spoke with the managers and nothing was done. They charge like a first rate hotel, so we expected minimum a clean room.

IF YOU WANT TO AVOID BEING UPSET, COLD AND UNABLE TO SLEEP, DO NOT STAY HERE.
This hotel needs a complete remodeling! 🤦🏻‍♀️😱😡
