What a lovely place! We only stayed one night - the night before an amazing 3 day white water rafting trip on the Klamath with Raft California. The room was clean and comfortable with the convenience of a shared full kitchen. The view on the spacious back lawn is beautiful - right on the river with chairs to relax and a swing. The property is close enough to town to grab groceries but feels remote. The owner John is a super nice guy with loads of knowledge about the area. He even gave popsicles to my two boys. If you are going to be in the area, this is the place to stay!

Stayed here while working and the place was very comfortable and clean giving it a home like feeling. The lady that's on site was very kind and provided us with a nice stay. Only downfall is there is no laundry on site. You have to go down the road into happy camp to the Laundromat. Other than that it was very nice. Would stay again

We just completed a four night stay and it couldn’t have been better. The property is absolutely beautiful, the location on the river is magical and the owner John is wonderful. Our double room was updated and comfortable (great AC!!) for myself and two teenage children. All the comforts of home and a shared kitchen is very helpful given there is limited food options in Happy Camp. John has put a lot of work and love into the lodge and we look forward to visiting again soon.

This is a small, family style hotel. We were met out front by a friendly couple, their granddaughter, and her adorable cat. There is one full suite with a kitchen and all of the other rooms share small kitchens with one other room. The rooms are small but clean and have all of the necessary amenities including wi fi. But the best feature is the view of the Klamath River running along the property, beautiful trees, and mountains. There are Adirondack chairs and a porch swing out on a large lawn in front of the rooms and little table and chairs on the porch in front of each room (where we ate dinner we made in the kitchen), all of which look over the view.

A peaceful place to stay along the river. A cozy room with a comfortable bed, a microwave and refrigerator in the room, and a shared kitchen between rooms. Comfortable chairs, a picnic table, and a swinging bench, are out on the grassy area under some good shade trees along the river. There is a covered area with a gas barbeque, table and chairs.

We are staying here with 2 kids. John , the host was very accommodating and friendly. Rooms are cute and clean. The best part is outside area. Plenty of space, chairs, easy access to the river. We had very nice swim. I would definitely recommend this place for great outdoor vacations. Very nice and peaceful.

I spent just the most amazing week there, the area is breathtaking and away from all the city noise and madness. It's a stones throw from the Oregon border, enjoy time there too. Take a step back, take a deep breath, and escape life if you please. This place is family friendly and/or for the solo traveler. However you arrive, your calming senses will be tickled. Owner/operator/caretaker/host John is an amazing man. He took great care of us and showed us cool things. We enjoyed water activities such as rafting, as well as fun times at the nearby creek. We visited the nearest lookout tower and marveled at our view, its God's country in it's truest form. Followed by wonderful bonfires right next to the flowing river, enjoying it with friends and family. If you want an adventure, a quiet space, or roll around in the giant grass field, please head here and disconnect for awhile. Only then will you know what I felt. Take care, safe travels.

$135/night without heat. Charged us even for a night we did not stay there and have yet to refund! There was a pseudo fireplace that blows out warm air a couple feet in front of it and a broken space heater in the room. There weren’t even any warm blankets provided, just really old paper thin decorative bedspreads. The walkways weren’t cleared from snow which made it difficult to pull suitcases. Left early and still waiting on refund!
