This property is an absolute GEM, one of my favorite hotels in all of Atlanta. The rooms are gorgeously renovated, decked out with classy little touches like crystal rocks glasses and robes, and incredibly comfy beds. This property only has a handful of double queen rooms, so we weren't able to book one of those in time, but we did get an upgrade to premium rooms for a little extra elbow room and it was AMAZING. I'd book the premium in advance next time just to ensure the same experience. ||Their rooftop bar is stunning and the drinks are top tier. I highly recommend arriving during the manager's reception/welcome! The complementary snacks and drinks were such a great way to start our trip!||We stayed here to celebrate my best friend's engagement and couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you, Sylvan team! |10/10 recommend the Kimpton Sylvan.

Ive stayed at the Kimpton Sylvan twice on business related trips. Both experiences were excellent. After my first, I actually wrote the Hotel Manager a note expressing what a gem they have. The entire staff is amazing from the valet attendants, front desk...everyone is friendly, helpful and goes an extra distance to make your stay special. The rooftop bar is a great place to have a drink and the food at The Betty is wonderful. Great location in Buckhead. Highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

I will never not stay at a Kimpton if one is available. The Sylvan is a beautiful hotel. Customer service is excellent per usual and the hotel is exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated. We loved having drinks at the lobby bar as well as the bar on the rooftop. The pool area is lovely but it was raining during our stay so we were unable to enjoy it. Complimentary tea/coffee/water in the lobby was a nice touch. The valet was prompt and all of the young men were courteous and professional. I will definitely stay at the Sylvan again. Highly recommend.

Wow and wow! We loved, loved the Kimpton Sylvan! We were greeted with a very friendly, efficient front desk clerk! He made us so very welcomed and served us some champagne 🍾 Nice!!! The seating area was lovely and the fireplace was cozy! The outside bar and swimming pool looked soooo inviting! This would be a great place to enjoy for the warmer months! Beautiful!
Our room was beautiful and clean! The comforter and sheets were comfortable and lovely! The bathroom was beautiful! We loved that the Atlanta History Center was just down the road! We caught an Uber there and back! Yay! We'd love to come back and enjoy Buckhead! Wow!

I had such an amazing stay here! The location was excellent, my room was clean, and the hotel itself is super cute. The front desk staff were literally the best, especially Michael. Michael went above and beyond for me during my two day stay at The Sylvan. He was so helpful, super kind, and exemplified great service. The only issue I had here was valet. Majority of the valet staff were nice but a few of them were a bit rude. Other than that, I would highly recommend staying here.

I’ve stayed in Atlanta many times and never felt the need to leave a review, but this was a REALLY LOVELY stay. I wish I was staying longer. The rooms are very stylish and spacious and the bed is beyond comfortable. But all that can mean nothing if the staff aren’t good. The staff at The Kimpton Buckhead are absolutely delightful! Genuinely friendly, great energy and nothing was a problem. I arrived hours before check in and they found me a room without hesitation. I felt very looked after, even after checkout while waiting for my ride. A very special shout out to Ro at the front desk. She’s an asset to your Hotel! 🙂

While I was here for a business event, so I wasn't able to explore the nearby area, I did find the hotel to be very nice. It is a bit on the pricier side, but I do believe that their room delivered on such a price as well as their pool and gym seemed to be pretty good. I found I had a decent nights sleep. They do valet parking only, so you will need to prepare for that when you plan your trip here. It seemed like you might be in walking distance of a handful of things. You can easily to into downtown from here and without traffic you are only about 30 minutes from the airport. Overall, I think for a business trip, this is a good hotel.

Nice place. Trying to be grown I decided to book the trip without any help from my lady, which was a definite no no because I ended up booking the trip for the next day versus the day we showed up however the staff in this hotel make sure they accommodate me even with the rooms filling up. I’ll see you this much in 2025 customer service is pretty much a forgotten craft across the board with most businesses even your high scale hotels tend to have a breakdown a customer service not because they try to not because they’re bad places because we’re human beings and the one thing you can’t teach with human beings is human emotion to stay at a all-time level with that being said this hotel could’ve easily said sir were booked unfortunately you have to find another place to stay, but instead they went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were more than happy with the room that we have, if I had to complain about anything, the shower was a little weird the way the water came out, but I’ll take that complaint over anything else. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel And I would definitely recommend this hotel thank you to the front staff. Thank you to the entire staff that makes the stay there possible.
