Nice place with lots of art work. Staff were friendly and direct. They serve coffee and food. I had a really big Twenty Dollar Burrito, for $20. It was decent.
There is a small parking lot in-front, and additional parking with a bigger lot just across the street for free.

This is a GEM of a restaurant in Hood River! I almost wanted to keep this place all to myself, but alas, this is an experience that needs to be shared. The Bloody Marys were exquisitely crafted with bacon that touched the soul. We also tried the Micheladas which were made using local Double Mountain Lager. -Perfection. Halfway through the drinks, our Chorizo Sopes arrived which were complex in all the right ways. Not greasy, excellently crafted with pickled onions, cilantro, and radishes. The crispness of the sopes were complimented by the over easy eggs and the black bean spread was a hidden treasure. We ended with a fresh house made donut which was soft and decadent. HINT* Get there early before they are all gone. Oh, and Nick, our server, made the experience that much better. Made us feel like family. Check out the book at the table that his wife put together. I say this often, but we will 100% be back! Thanks to everyone at Kickstand.

Really lackluster food. It had all the components of a banh mi but somehow tasted like nothing much. At least it was fresh. Now the main complaint is with the fried chicken. The breading was actually depressing. Like if I thought to leave my house to get fried chicken and that’s what I ended up with I would have been so sad. At least the chicken in the bahn mi was grilled and tasted decent.

Lackluster at best... I understand not being a vegan restaurant, so it isn't your priority but when you charge almost $20 for 2 flour tortillas with some pickled onion and a few slices of avocado, there is something wrong. Do not recommend if you're vegan or looking to pay fair prices. Fries were good though.

What a fun concept for an outdoor rec shop to be in the same building as this delicious American fusion restaurant. This lovely hidden gem is tucked away in a little pocket of beautiful downtown Hood River and offers cozy indoor and outdoor seating. The counter service staff was very friendly and helpful when selecting a beer. Our food was prepped and served quickly! We ordered the banh mi tacos and spicy chicken sandwich — the prices are a little high but you definitely get your money’s worth here. Portions are large and the flavors even larger. I’d highly recommend popping in here!

Food was great- giant burrito. The vegetarian sausage was a standard option and not at an extra charge. staff member made sure to restate that a dish was gluten free when bringing it to the table. The self seating then ordering at the counter was a bit stressful since you could lose your table- that could be improved.

The wait staff was attentive. I enjoyed the food that we had. We got the burrito, Pork "Quesabirria" Buns, and the crispy brussel sprouts. It was delicious. I would try something else over the burrito next time, but the bao buns and brussel sprouts were top notch!

Great laid back local grill and bike shop. The BBQ Smash Burger was outstanding! Holly ordered the Crispy Chicken Tacos, absolutely amazing! Overflowing with perfecly seasoned chicken and other good stuff. Drinks were the Double Mountain Dry Cider, pretty good, and a peach margarita, really good. We also ordered the Small Plate Mole Fries, delicous and too much to eat. Highly recommend KickStand for great food and trail bike parts and apparel.
