If you get to breath the same air as the owner, consider yourself blessed. Small and cozy, peaceful. Food was amazing! Even my grandma who doesn't typically finish her food ate it all up. Would recommend the new York cheesecake, one person staff with rapid service, somehow. So much high quality food, and all handmade by the owner on the grill in the back. Will come back if I can! (Maybe tomorrow morning, as I'm on vacation here.)

Walking in, there was nobody else there. Usually, that is a bad sign. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the meat! Very nice staff, generous portions for the price, lots of sauces to choose from. The corm bread looked to be very dry, but it was perfectly moist! My only critique is: more corn meal in the corn bread, dial back the spices in the beans and more tea in the sweet tea... I will definitely be going back!

Service was great! Good BBQ sauces! The pulled chicken was very flavorful. The brisket was pretty good although kinda dry. We didn't care for the potato salad with the half cooked potatoes or the coleslaw they were both lacking flavor. The Mac and cheese was pretty good .The baked beans and the green beans were fantastic! Overall a decent experience but could have been better. I can understand all the hard work it must take to run a BBQ place though the protein portions could have been larger, especially for the price.

The BBQ was cooked perfectly. I had the Texan sandwich which is beef brisket and pulled pork. The meat was juicy and the Carolina sauce delicious. My side was potato salad and that was yummy also. My husband had pulled pork, coleslaw with pickled onions. My son had the beef brisket with Alabama white sauce. If you are in the area this is a must stop.

We're not from here, and we decided to try something that wasn't a chain. We absolutely loved the food. I got the brisket, green beans, and mac n' cheese. Separately, the atmosphere is so homey, and the guys were super respectful and patient with little ol' indecisive me.

I'm a big fan of BBQ and Kaz's didn't disappoint. Growing up in N.C I know my BBQ. Ofcoarse my favorite sauce being the Carolina red I tried that. Good sandwich, fair prices. Side portions could be bigger, or maybe they were low on slaw they day.. Friendly service. Would recommend trying.

We stopped here on our way to Mammoth Cave from Maryland and we wanted something quick and delicious. This was just we needed. Not only is Kaz incredibly friendly and made sure to fill us in on everything he had to offer but also went above and beyond to show us what he could cook up.
My father got the green beans and he says that they were his favorite thing by far. He works abroad so he plans to come back here if he is the area.
Me and my mother had the pulled pork sandwiches and they AMAZING!!! I've had pulled pork sandwiches before but these were 10/10. Kaz also insisted we try the Mustard Vinaigrette he had and, honestly, I hogged it all for myself because it was so good.

We definitely recommend this place for anyone who enjoys BBQ. It's worth the trip!

The brisket was really dry the Mac and cheeses tasted like craft I could make the corn bread was not the way cooked awesome cups the Owner said I can film a video in there. Maybe because it was dinner that why all of the food was dry other then the Pulled pork. BBQ good
