Karbelle Mansion is a great place - hospitality, atmosphere, pace, comfort, feel, friendliness, etc. - to unwind and enjoy the area. It really does make for the perfect personal and/or business retreat. Like Glasgow’s position on the Missouri River to establish its success and prosperity, its location is a crown jewel of an incredible town and region. It’s so close to everything (Columbia, Feyette, Boonville, the Katy Trail and more) yet remote enough to relax in a small town atmosphere. And for the population of Glasgow, the restaurants rival any major city.

I had a chance to spend a few days for a personal and business retreat in Glasgow, Missouri. The owner and host, Kimberly Reckner, provided a tour of the Mansion as well as setting up a personal historic tour of Glasgow. If you have a small business or team in Missouri, it’s centrally located to provide the perfect setting to recharge and plan for the next quarter and year. I highly recommend it.

This historic brick mansion has been lovingly restored. It is spotlessly clean, the proprietor is exceedingly accommodating and my bed was like sleeping on a cloud. It is a short, lovely, walk to downtown full of friendly people, historic buildings and peaceful river views.

My favorite local spot!!! I love everything about this place. If you get a chance to view this mansion you can see all the law that has gone into keeping it and making it a unique experience. It’s modern as well as timeless and historic.
