Thank you for the EXCELLENT service, Emily Q. Order was taken quickly, and we were served quickly as well. My wife had the fried mushrooms, which she said were to die for good. I had the Chef Salad, which was made to perfection. Strange, but I frequent this pizza chain for their salad, but let me tell you, they make a killer salad.

HVAC must have been out. They had a large portable AC unit running that was barely keeping the place cool. The wait staff was really suffering, but if you weren't moving around, it wasn't too bad.

Having not eaten at Johnny Pizza in years due to living out of town was disappointed in how much the quality of food has gone down. Pizza dry and not a lot of toppings. Garlic Knotts were about the size of a M&M Peanut. Service was friendly and fast.

Amazing staff and amazing food great group of people and great management. Amaya is the best her and Maddie deserve a raise along with everyone else they all work very hard and are super nice 10/10 restraunt

I am very displeased with my first experience here! Last night my family and I ordered pizza, the pizza was absolutely burnt and completely unacceptable. My 3 year old was completely disgusted. Please double check food and care about the service your staff is giving to others!

So I was a little concerned after reading all the negative reviews, and since Johnny’s is one of my favorite pizza, restaurants I had to see for myself. To my surprise a much larger cleaner establishment. I received excellent customer service with great food. They even put the Braves game on for me. I will definitely be back.

Please be careful when using this restaurant’s website vs. Doordash, Ubereats, etc. I placed my order 13 days ago on their website and at checkout I did not realize there was a glitch until after processing my payment. Three pizzas were ordered instead of 1 and there was also a duplicate order for one of the subs ordered. Once the mistake was realized, I immediately contacted the Covington location and called Doordash, as they were to handle delivery. I was pleased that the store cancelled the order as requested and agreed to proceed with the corrected order. Unfortunately, I was told that they would not be able to process the refund; it would have to come from Doordash. No worries, or so I thought. I cancelled the order with Doordash, who promptly told me they would not be processing the refund and that it would have to come from the merchant. Again, I thought no worries, must be a miscommunication. I simply placed the corrected order and then called Johnny’ back. After a lengthy conversation, I was told I would need to speak with a manager. I called back after a couple days and began speaking with the manager, who assured me she would resolve the issue. After Christmas I contacted the store again since I had yet to receive my refund of $178.98. This time I was told they were waiting for a response from Slice. (? No clue why). Called back again on Monday the 30th as no one had reached out to me, despite having my information. Again, lengthy conversation and explanations but assured the situation would be resolved. This time I received a call back from Johnny’s stating they had been told by Doordash that a refund had been processed on Dec 22nd, the day of the original cancellation. Not sure which entity was lying but I decided all 3 parties needed to be on the call. Once we were all on the line, the Doordash rep reiterated that they are not responsible for the refund. And when I looked up the phone number associated with the charge to my account, it came up as Johnny’s Pizza Buford, GA. The manager then said she would contact me once she looked into this and give me a call back. Almost 24 hours later, no call back. I reached out again on Jan 2nd and spoke with a gentleman who told me this was an issue for the owner to handle. Soooo again I must wait. I am so not the wait and see type. As of this evening, a refund has still not been issued.
This was my first time dealing with this restaurant and I can guarantee it will be my last. The pizza was decent, not true NY style but still pretty good.

This was my first time visiting this pizza place and I must say the pizza looks good and the staff was very nice. They fix the small mistake with the pizza of no green olives. The crust could have been cooked a bit more and thinner. NY Style pizza is thinner and the crust is chewy. So on my next order I am going to ask for the toppings to be under the cheese instead of on top. Yes I will be back for more..
