Pretty good food, and definitely big enough portions. I personally like the meat to be cooked in the BBQ sauce they do not do it like that, and even if you request extra BBQ sauce it doesn't have nearly enough sauce. Still I think it's a pretty good place to eat.

Pretty good place, good vibe and great service. The chopped beef was good, not a lot of smoke flavor, my plate didn’t have much bark chopped in so that may have been why. The coleslaw was excellent as were the beans. I could’ve eaten a much bigger portion of both sides!

Johnny's has the best BBQ
And the best service,they treat you like family and you cannot find better BBQ in my opinion any where.
Johnny's is the best I've been eating there since the ninety's.all I can really say if you don't try Johnny's BBQ you don't know what real BBQ is supposed to taste like,you will not find fat greasy nasty tasting pork at Johnny's he cares about good quality taste,he doesn't try to make extra money for feeding you fat and grease mixed with your food,I drive twenty five miles and it's worth the fifty mile round trip.

We got there kinda late and offered to get the food to go. The staff were very welcoming and encouraged us to dine in, letting us know we had plenty of time before they were going to be ready to close. The food was outstanding, went in on a mission to try the Brunswick Stew (coworker said it was the best in Gainesville, and they weren't lying!) Wound up getting a pork sandwich to eat there and took a few quarts of the stew to go. I can't wait to go back and try the family special, the beans, slaw, chicken, and brisket.

Came thru the drive thru and ordered dinner. I had to park and go back in after I didn’t get handed my drink. I get home and my whole sandwich isn’t even in the bag. We won’t be back since this is the second time of not great service. The previous time we ate in. I was missing my child’s fries and we wait and waited for them and they never came. I finally went to the counter and asked I had to tell the cashier my whole order again and then what was missing.
