John Allen House is a true gem! ||Sherry and Wesley are wonderful hosts, talking with them is as if you are catching up with old friends.||My husband and I bicycled the Ohio To Erie Trail and chose this B&B based on its location to the towpath and reviews. We love old homes, the architecture and history of them, and John Allen House has plenty of both. I could not stop taking photos and I left wanting to take more.||The home is beautiful and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful! We stayed in the Vogue Suite which was decorated with so many intricate accents, for example, decorative necklaces draped from jewelry boxes. It felt like more than just a guest room.| |There are restaurants within walking distance, we chose Acapulco and it was good.||We would love an opportunity to visit again!

I chose this B&B because it was so nice and close to the OTET trail. Sherry and Wesley were very friendly but not intrusive. Wesley came out to greet us and get us checked in. Sherry gave clear directions on how to get in and out of the house once we were settled. They locked our bikes in their garage for the night so they would be secure. Breakfast was delicious and just what we needed to hop on a bike and ride to Columbus. The room was so beautiful and clean. The bed was very comfortable. I love all the beautiful touches around the house! Highly recommend if you are in Xenia and need a cozy place to stay for the night.

We stayed here as a stop on the Ohio to Erie bike trail. The hosts were friendly and welcoming giving us tips on places to eat nearby and we met other cyclists at their lovely included breakfast. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone passing through the area or staying a while.

Exceptionally lovely, comfortable, convenient, and ideal Bed and Breakfast in the heart of Xenia, OH. All the comforts of home and more. Delicious and superbly prepared breakfasts daily. Fresh Desserts made for snacking. Dining room fully stocked with tea, coffee, water, goodies. The owners are absolutely delightful. We had such a wonderful time together. Felt like immediate friends and also more like family.

This was my 2nd visit to this beautiful home. It's my go to stop on my way home from Virginia to Illinois. Safe, clean, and quiet. Hosts are friendly and make you feel comfortable. I only stay in the Majestic Suite, it's the most Beautiful room. My favorite BNB by far!

I was driving alone on about a 800 mile trip, I stopped here after about 500 miles on my way home. This place is beautiful quiet and I felt so much safer then staying at hotel. Hosts are so sweet! I hope to come back with my husband and stay a few days! I stayed in The Majestic Suite and if you want bouchie this checks all the boxes! AMAZING ♥ You can really feel the love they have put into this home.

It’s highly likely that you will find yourself ambling around the walls of this historic property in awe of its high ceilings, massive doors, fascinating architecture and carefully curated furniture. In addition, Bed and Breakfast hosts Wes and Sherry go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable as it is enjoyable as evidenced by tasty snacks and breakfast, clean rooms and a welcoming tour. Highly recommend!
