Best barbecue in Arizona. Fresh food with a homemade flair. Fast friendly service and portions that can be shared amongst the table.
We make the trip over to Joe’s Real BBQ once a month now that the weather is cooler, and tend to venture out more during the summer months so the kids can play out on the patio.
We enjoy everything from the meat platter, baked potato and chicken salad. Root beer float is huge, corn bread is always hot and fresh, the brisket cannot be beat. Sides are just as good- cheese potatoes, beets and coleslaw are some of our must haves. Staff members are efficient, kind and knowledgeable about menu items. Plenty of options for kids and adults alike. Gluten free and even vegan options are available. Great place to have a good meal that feels satisfying and delicious. Nice atmosphere inside and out.

Ordered the Sliced brisket and the pulled pork dinner. WOW, flavorful, moist and delicious. Brisket is King at Joe's BBQ in Gilbert (G-Town). Additionally the bean and cornbread were great side complements to the dinner.

Joe’s Real BBQ has some of the best smoked brisket I’ve ever had! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming, and their BBQ sauce is amazing. It’s become a tradition to go here with friends and family for special occasions.

On a motorcycle ride with 13 other bikes and 18 people. What a great stop to have lunch.
Everyones food was great, and it was very fast to get our whole group feed and back on the trip.
My sliced brisket salad was awesome.
Well, stop in again.

First time trying this place, the meat was very flavorful. There was however A LOT of fat with the meat that we ordered ( both options of brisket, pulled pork) the macaroni and cheese is very traditional with the velvety cheese. It’s not southern bbq but it is good if you’re wanting the bbq meat without having to do it yourself. Very quick to get your food which was great but again the amount of fat for the price per plate is just something to note depending on the type of meat you order. Cheesy potatoes are also okay, didn’t have much flavor but it’s a side to offset the meat you’re eating. Corn bread was very good though!

Joe's is always amazing! Meat always cooked to perfection and very tasty. We love the baker with brisket. The salad is delicious too! Can't go wrong with whatever you choose. Staff is always friendly and work so hard.

Truly the best BBQ I’ve ever had in my life. I cannot wait to go back. Mac and cheese is always a tough one to get right but theirs was 10/10.
