I ordered through door dash and the cake was pretty good. It didn't taste like a southern red velvet but was still ok. The chicken with the sprinkles of the power stuff is pretty good. Overall 4.0 or of 5.

Nice little spot for hot fish and chicken. They cook it as you order it. Definitely a plus!! Combo comes with two slices of white loaf bread, fries and a canned soda. I upgraded my soda to a mango lemonade. They have several other flavors to choose from. The food was good too. Service was fast but a little dry. They take your order and that's it. But they were extremely busy!

Decided to give this plate another try after my daughter’s urging. This time I tried the wings. They were very good and seasoned. The fact that you can get 10 WHOLE wings for $13 is amazing. Especially when I’ve been going elsewhere and getting 10 wing portions for more.

They also give you a lot of French fries, as well as two pieces of bread. It’s honestly a deal. Their favored lemonades are also pretty good. I don’t know if I’ll give the fish another try, but I’ll definitely be back for more wings.

Ordered for the first time today. Both my husband and I ordered the catfish nugget meal. The good thing is everything smelled good, and I loved the fact that they weren’t stingy with the nuggets. It was so much food that we both put half of it away to eat the remainder later. Needless to say we were both excited to dig in.

Unfortunately the food was not up to par. The included coleslaw was super tiny. It was also bland and didn’t really taste like anything. I could look past that because it wasn’t the main dish. What I couldn’t ignore was the fact that the catfish nuggets were extremely fishy tasting. I mean they were disgusting. Add in the fact that I ended up with a bunch of hard bones in some of the nuggets. We tried to jazz it up with hot sauce and tartar sauce, but it still turned out inedible and ending up trashing it. I’m super annoyed because the entire meal was ruined. Wasted $25 because neither of us plan to eat the other half.

I will not be eating at this establishment again, and it’s sad because I heard such great things about this place.

I recently dined at JJ's Fish and Chicken Restaurant, and it was a delightful experience! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meal. I enjoyed their crispy fried fish and juicy chicken, both cooked to perfection with a delicious blend of spices. The sides, especially the coleslaw and fries, complemented the main dishes beautifully. The staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. I left feeling satisfied and eager to return for more of their mouthwatering offerings!

Food has been good, hot and as ordered both times I've gone. Once they were busy, once they weren't, same experience both times. Their customer service is dry, after spectating both times, their customer service is dry with everyone. However, it's not rude, so we will be back! Free parking on premises, restaurant is connected to a gas station. Catfish, fries and corn nuggets are all on point, cake was dry - extra "crack" please?!

FIRST TIME EATING AT JJ FISH EVER!
First teach your front desk folks proper etiquette, I know this is supposed to be "hood/ghetto" food but employees don't need to act like it. Take lessons from chik-fi-la if you're lost.
Secondly I really wish I knew that ALL of their wings were sprinkled with that thing. The guy said it was lemon pepper I'm not a fan of lemon pepper anything! So that order was wasted, it was already paid for so I took it out of respect. Emphasis on RESPECT teach your employees that.
Third the food actually looks like the pictures! except no indication of white dust on it.
Definitely won't be returning! Too ghetto and rude... Apparently it's NORMAL!!! But it's not my normal.
And I hate lemon pepper seasoning. And maybe have a sign that indicates where to order and where to pick up, the young lady was acting annoyed even though I repeatedly said this is my first time ever ordering JJ fish & chicken. Then the guy that stepped in was even ruder! So I guess it's my fault. And maybe he should Google what an assembly line is. I know you don't need a masters degree to work there but the way everything is set up is definitely an example of an assembly line and maybe he won't get upset and he'll understand what other forms of intelligence mean when they use that term when describing the ordering process.

Great service from the staff. I tried the shrimp, catfish and fries. Everything was seasoned well. This was a to go order and the food was still hot when i picked it up and got it back home. The combo also comes with a small side of coleslaw and a drink

Great whole catfish and shrimp plates. You can order without the Parmesan dusting that some don't like. I order ahead online and it's always ready, fresh and hot. Portion sizes are great for the price. Everyone has been friendly and helpful when I'm there. Best catfish around, actually tastes like catfish and not cardboard like another local hotspot.
