I returned.
The Works Biscuits and Gravy with coffee was warm and delicious on a dark cold and rainy Sunday. I give it a 5/5! For the love of comfort food, it was perfection.

The Bacon Constrictor was nommy , as always.
Don't bother trying to save time, ordering ahead fails and the staff couldn't care less.
I ordered ahead to find they hadn't checked online order so it was not ready. The lady running the grill behind the counter looked annoyed at my existence, the younger one did try, however no one acknowledged the error or delay. No order to refund, just a you're gonna wait for it.
The atmosphere was crowded and stressed. Not a place I woudl wanna Dine in

This independently owned Jim and Patty’s isn’t part of the chain that had to fold. The atmosphere here is great and the staff is really dedicated. Food is a step up from a typical coffee house afterthought. They have lots of well-spaced seating inside and a lovely outdoor patio.

Sadly I used to love this place, the coffee is still usually good, but service? Nuup! The employee actually scolded a customer because "i shouted your name twice and you didn't get your food, so it's cold now". It is not, at all, busy. Heaven forfend you walk an order to one of 5 customers - whose clearly elderly and probably doesn't hear well. They will stand and talk to eachother while not making your coffee. You can jolly well wait, they're not slaves you know and you're inconveniencing them with your interruption of paying money. It's really sad because this was one of my favorite local businesses and now this last store standing is destroying the legacy one unluckt customer at a time.

I LOVE going here! I went to other Jim&Patty’s in high school but this one is by far the best, I had the nicest interaction with a worker there, I think her name was aliyah, she was super friendly and gave great recommendations. I can’t wait to come back!

I want to love this place because it's my neighborhood coffee shop, but I'm so bummed that they always cook the gluten free pig newtons at the same temperature and the same length of time as the regular ones. I've asked them repeatedly to bake them off the way corporate instructs them to, but the kids who work there don't care and clearly have never tried to eat a GF one baked into a dried out rock. So disappointing because it's the only GF item they offer. I do love their hot chocolate though.

Today I have had a bad experience at this place. I came with 2 friends of mine (and one lady came 5 minutes later).I ordered a Loaded Avocado toast and was truly disappointed. The chef ( tall lady with dark hair) made a toast for me with a very light layer of avocado, almost transparent, and 1 slice of bacon. I saw that she was making another one toast at the same time. In 5 minutes my friend ordered the same toast and the other chef made it for my friend. My friend got a very generous amount of avocado , 3 slices of bacon! It was truly different toasts on the table! So , by the way, the first chef took a toast and went to lunch. I guess that she just stole some avocado and bacon from my toast. I'm not hungry or jealous, but I'm a principled person who loves justice. I wanted to talk to the first chef but she didn't come back. I paid $12.95 for nothing.
