Just moved to Alabama from Washington state a few weeks ago and this was our first taste of southern BBQ, it was divine. Delicious pulled chicken and pork, as well as their brisket. My girlfriend loved her baked potato, and their cheddar biscuits were tasty too. Staff was kindly and attentive, location was clean and our food came pretty quick. Will definitely be coming back to visit again soon.

We had the Carolina style pulled pork sandwich and fried catfish. Both were excellent. The onion rings snd potato salad as sides were also great.

Always a great experience at Jim 'N Nick's. The food is always great. Service has always been fantastic. I have eaten there a ton and I've never had a bad experience. I got smoked turkey, (super moist great flavor) smoked chicken dark, (same as turkey, delicious) and marbled brisket (great flavor also moist) I like the marbling. I'm glad that is an option now. Corn On The Cob and mac and cheese for my side. Both great. Wife got loaded potato. She loved it. Onion rings for appetizer. Fantastic. Kiddo Got mac and cheese. She liked it.

This was my first time visiting, and I would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for good barbecue! The food was well prepared and very flavorful, not to mention good prices! My waiter was kind to me and my family and absolutely hilarious! The overall atmosphere of the restaurant could only be described as fun and friendly.

Really had high hopes for the BBQ joint. Sadly the BBQ is just OK. I got the baby back ribs and unfortunately they were so dry. My coworker ordered the marbled brisket and it must have been cut earlier and sat for awhile as it was also very dry. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Just wish the BBQ was better. Overall I don't think I'll be coming back.

Ordered classic style ribs and southern burger on September 24, 2024.
Was a terrible dinning experience and this is why;
The classic style ribs were brought cold and not fully cooked cause I could see the pink.
The bacon in my son’s burger was hard like a piece of wood and after eating the food he got sick with stomach issues.
I ate one piece of my ribs and took the rest home to cooks little bit more in my oven. The food was not worth the price they were charging.
The classic style ribs were tasteless and undercooked.
The waitress took forever before she came over and the customer service was not good.
I definitely won’t be going back to the Trussville location.

My wife and I visited this restaurant almost 2 weeks ago and had a delicious meal! When we arrived back home in GA, we discovered some damage to her cellphone because of an unfortunate accident at the restaurant involving a very courteous server. After contacting the GM, Jon, and explaining/documenting the situation, he, without hesitation or exasperation, took care of the cost to replace the phone! I am extremely grateful to him, and thoroughly impressed with his professionalism! He's a true example of customer service!

Food and Service were amazing today. Everything was hot and fresh on the table in about 10 minutes and yes the corn muffins are amazing. Attentive staff offered to go drinks and plates.
