The hotel rooms facing the Verde Valley have a jaw dropping outstanding view. We could have stayed in the room all day & watched the changing colors on the surrounding red rock mountains of Sedona. Rooms are modest but have the essentials. A comfortable bed, private bathroom with amenities and table with chairs was all we needed. The complimentary breakfast had great coffee and a wide selection to choose from. Oatmeal, sausage & egg breakfast sandwich, bagels, muffins, pastries, waffles, yogurts, juices...enough choices to please any one.|As this hotel has a history of ghost sightings, we had hoped to see some ghostly activity. This did not occur.|All the staff we interacted with were top notch & wanted to share tidbits of local history. After many visits to Jerome, we never knew the Jerome Historical Society owns 90% of the commercial buildings. The Historical Society began to save old buildings from being demolished in the 1970's. It was a better choice than having the buildings demolished. |If you enjoy phenomenal views, history, rural charm and possible ghost sightings, you have found your place.

The driveway up to the hotel is pretty scary, but the roads in Jerome in general are pretty nerve-wracking. The staff was super friendly and their continental breakfast was great (even though from the look at first it doesn't seem like there is much).
I am a chicken so I slept with my TV on all night because I didn't want to hear anything. I did wake every hour on the hour for some reason.
The elevator is really cool.

Such a fun hotel with amazing history! Definitely not modern, but better! We had so much fun using the old elevator and looking at all the antiques in the hallways. We also loved figuring out some of the function of interesting features left behind from the past! At night there was a ghost hunter with all the gear 😆 The hotel has a "quiet" rule starting at 10pm. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I have visited Jerome a number of times over the years but were never able to stay for one reason or another . We moved to South Carolina and still managed a visit on a day trip from Phoenix but no over night . Now we decided to celebrate our 30th anniversary with a road trip and our primary target was Jerome and then staying at the best place we knew , the Jerome Grand Hotel. We made our reservation a couple months out and we were set, I believe we even got a phone call a week out confirming our visit. We drove cross country and took it all in| We drove up the small , yet in my book, very quaint and fun driveway up to the hotel. We were a little early but our room was ready and we checked in . The front desk lady , Nat I think was great and Jess, were top notch , forgive me if I got their names wrong as I should’ve wrote them down. They were knowledgeable and even told us about some of the history of things at the hotel. A very important employee who has not retired is, Otis , as in the Otis elevator. This was indeed a step back in time and just added to the ambiance of it all . | The hallways are all decorated with different things from history so check.out the hallways , after you have ridden the elevator. I would use the stairs from time to time and this is how I discovered them. We were on the 4th floor and as we opened the door , our room, which used to be a hospital room was perfect . It had a king bed, couple comfy chairs to relax and the bathroom and shower were great. Now we made sure to request a balcony and it was worth the upgrade , my wife had tears in her eyes as we looked over Jerome and I’m sure I saw the mountains in Sedona . And cottonwood . The hotel was the perfect spot to leave the car and walk all over Jerome. Land of 1000 stairs and 100 mile views . I have listed some great restaurants in my reviews , but the Clinkscale is the best .| We stayed two nights here and talked with the front desk often , the young gentleman at night was super friendly as well . The breakfast is sausage biscuits you can heat up, lots of pastries, milk, almond milk, yogurt, cereals , granola and I’m sure I forgot some things but it was delicious and nice to relax there | We will definitely stay again and maybe do a week next time as I and already looking at next September lol. |Also I wanted to add Jerome is a great spot for day trips as we did visit , montezumas well and montezumas castle from there . So I’m sure there are other places as well but Jerome is the spot . We will be back

We wanted to just see the rooms, and were willing to pay for a room for the night just to see it. Mind you this was in the early afternoon, not when guests were sleeping. The manager refused to let us even rent one room unless we paid 700 dollars for the grand suite. Would not recommend if you’re looking for a welcoming experience.

Went to Jerome while in Sedona on a friend's recommendation. We discovered the Grand hotel and their restaurant The Asylum. It was lunch time so we figured we would check it out.

OMGoodness, the roads are crazy! One lane roads and steep. It was quite the adventure.

Once we arrived, we were seated quickly however it took about 15 minutes to get drinks and menus. That was the worst of it, the remainder of our experience was exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful lunch in this town rich in history!

Delightful experience! The 30's vibe has been meticulously maintained. The fully functional 30's Otis Elevator was definitely a step back in time. Friendly staff with very clean rooms. Even the ghosts were friendly!! Jerome is rich in mining history!

The staff is awesome, we stayed over christmas while on a motorcycle trip. The Asylum restaurant has great food and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. We can't wait to go back.
