My husband booked the weekend to stay at Jacquish Hollow and to receive instruction in fly fishing. ||The accommodations are great. Clean, private, and very scenic. Nancy's cooking is wonderful too! Did not have a bad meal at all and had many fresh ingredients straight from her garden!||Dave took us fishing. While we weren't super successful on catching fish, Dave did an excellent job of explaining how to cast. We are both somewhat of beginners in fly fishing and Dave took his time with us and we learned a lot just in a day and a half.||If you're considering a trip, this is a great place to go. Scenic, quiet, great instruction and great hospitality! (Right down to their dogs Maggie and Jake!)

One weekend while the rest of the family was out of town, I drove up from Chicago and spent a night at this Inn. Dave and his wife, Nancy, keep a really nice place. The Inn is a custom log house in a fairly isolated part of Richland County, in the driftless area of SW Wisconsin. Two guest rooms on the lower level, each with a private full bathroom and a shared sitting room with TV, heating stove and desk. Everything was impeccably clean.||||After checking in, I spent a 15-30 minutes talking to Dave, who kindly offered some timely suggestions where to go looking for trout and what flies were likely to draw a bite in current conditions. I spent a thoroughly enjoyable day, caught a bunch of brown trout, and returned after dark to find fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies waiting for me. Had a great home-cooked breakfast with Dave & Nancy and then spent another 6 hours on the water with equal success.||||Definitely will return.

My husband and I stayed at Dave and Nancy Barron's Bed and Breakfast, the Jacquish Hollow Anglers Inn, as part of our fishing package. On a scale of 1 to 10, it was a 10! It was so nice there! We had comfortable beds to sleep in. Our bedroom, bathroom, and the adjacent living room were spotless and beautifully furnished and stocked with water and soda. ||||We slept very well and woke up to a hearty delicious breakfast of blueberry pancakes, sausage, coffee and juice - thanks so much, Nancy and Dave, for your hospitality. ||||We would not hesitate to stay there again and highly recommend it.

As a golf nut I really enjoyed learning how to fly fish with Dave. If I ever take up fishing it will be fly fishing because of Dave's patience with me and making it fun. The lodge is very nice and comfortable.
