The service was alright. Our waitress was very kind. The food is alright. Whether it's all homemade is questionable as I found a store-bought krinkle frie mixed in my homemade fries. My son ordered the BBQ sandwich. He said it was good aside from the pulled pork being dry. My husband and both sons said the onion rings were good. I thought the batter could use a little more flavor. I ordered the hamburger. The burger was good. Just needs more veggies. Plenty of onion, and tomato slices were good, just lacked lettuce. Homemade fries were a little over fried.

I was embarrassed to take my French guest to what turned out to be the worst restaurant in the entire United States. Never have I walked out refusing to pay my bill.

I ordered the hamburger steak with grilled onions and mushrooms. It was supposed to be 1/2 a pound. It was perhaps 1/16 of a pound but it was so burned it might have started out as more. There were no onions and the mushrooms were raw. The waitress dropped one of my pieces of Texas Toast on the table top and told me to pick it up because she didn't want to touch it - it didn't occur to her to offer me a new piece but since we had already waited for an hour for our meal I didn't say anything. I paid $1.99 extra for sour cream on a baked potato, which was cold, and the sour cream amounted to, at most, half a teaspoon.

My friend's mashed potatoes were cold and instant, the gravy was canned and the "homemade" Mac and cheese was out of a box. The "homemade" onion rings tasted frozen and were undercooked.

The waitress did not seem all that upset when we left without paying. They must be used to it.

Just happened to pop-in while on a day drip from Plano.
Loved the locale...peaceful & beautiful use of an old town building(like it was an old saloon). Even had pictures on wall of building back in the day.
It sure was reassuring to see a table of 10-12 saying grace before eating.
The two servers had a sense of urgency that's rare; only 2 taking care of all the tables.
Food was pretty good & with decent portions.

The food was so bland and the excuse we were given was they had a new cook and that when they used to season their food they almost got sued because someone had an allergic reaction. My grilled onions weren’t grilled. My nephews okra had freezer burn. Just an awful experience, sadly.
She did comp my meal so there’s that.

Enjoyed this stop for lunch while traveling through town on our way to Dallas for the weekend. Great family atmosphere for lunch with diverse patrons from retired couples, white and blue collar workers, and families. Friday fish special was delicious as was the pulled pork bbq. Fresh cut fries, cole slaw, and hush puppies were also especially delicious. Friendly service rounded out a great place to stop and have lunch. Highly recommend!

Service was terrible. No one greeted you. Waitress looked like she’d rather be somewhere else.
Food size portions were very small. My mash potatoes were ice cold. We will return to Reba’s place in the future.

40 min waiting for food. Special was fried or grilled shrimp with 2 sides. We also ordered the 8oz sirloin steak, which comes with salad and 1 side. Shrimp was tiny but tasty. The steak was a little overcooked, but tender, and texas toast was good. Looks like it was an old bank building with tin ceilings. Not too bad a price.
