Update: they are back at it again. I thought maybe it was a fluke but still the fries are trash. Spent 40 bucks just to get trash fries. This place is ghetto and dumb. There is no pride in this business. Do not go here!

This is the third time in a row that I have went and they have given me oil-logged fries. The fries were the same color as the chicken. It was like eating an oil burnt sponge! This is the last time they get me!

Not to mention them first telling us they had no wings even though they took our order over the phone and told us they did.

The food is over priced. The staff is rude. $25 for 20 wings doesn’t sound bad until you see the food. Spend your money somewhere else. How do you fit 20 wings in side containers? The wings are smaller than a thumb, I literally took a photo to show what I’m saying is true. Save yourself the disappointment. The menu has black tape over all the prices. You have to ask how much anything cost, they will not tell you unless you ask.

I visited the establishment based off of a recommendation from a family member. When I went inside the restaurant, I was not impressed. I ordered the 20 piece wing meal. The staff appeared bored and unproductive. The order took 15-20 minutes to prepare. When I ate some of the wings, it was not good. The wings look old (bone appeared dark) and the flavor was not tasty. The fries was hard. The look of place was unappealing. Need remodeling and a deep cleaning. Do not recommend at all.

I'm a patron of j wings bessemer is my favorite and five points is decent also. I went here to get gas and the smell hit me in the face like come to me so I did and wish I never wasted my money I ordered a 6 pc wing combo that ran me $11.54. So I go to eat this so called chicken and they look like premature hen wings smh the sauce didn't taste bad but I can't get over the size I was upcharged for punch which was not good not enough ice to match all the sugar the fries were decent I will never return to this j wings at this location you guys should invest in your food the wing sizes were ridiculous i hate it for the neighborhood people that want to eat there

Decided to go here after reading the reviews while visiting Alabama. Didn't want to go too far from hotel. Should've known there was an issue when we pulled up and this place was a part of a service station. But figured, like home, sometimes the best food comes from places like this. Clearly not the case.

First issue was their menu prices that were covered with black duct tape. I asked the young man did that mean they didn't have those items and he said no, it meant they updated their prices so I had to ask how much everything was.

I will say the customer service was really great and their cajun ranch fries were really good. The boneless chicken however, was the worst. It was so salty, it really was not edible. And it was hard and tasted old.

The fried green tomatoes were good, but they too were so overly seasoned they really weren't edible either. To boot these two dinner combos, a fried green tomato and two drinks cost us over $30.00. Now I'm still hungry and have to go out to spend more money. Shaking my head.

Working out of state and I always eat at places we don’t have where I live. As a wing lover this was a great choice! Nice size wings cooked perfectly. They were definitely full of flavor all the way to the bone as well. I substituted my fries on the combo with fried okra and it too was cooked perfect and a very large portion as well. I feel like I definitely got enough food for the money. Thank you!

Tried the chicken wings with cajun ranch and sweet & sour flavor. They were average at best, the cajun ranch was more on the salty side. Also, the wings smelled funny. Something didn’t felt right.
Wish the prices were displayed on the board (it was hidden with the duct tape when I visited). Also, you ONLY get to choose, two sauces on 20 wings!! ?‍♂️

I visited the Fultondale location last weekend, and purchased a $20 wing combo, and paid $2.00 more for all drums. The young lady who was working the counter attends Miles College, and she was nice and made sure that my order was correct. Today, I visited that same location, and I am not pleased at all with my 20 piece wing order. First of all, the wings were very tiny today, and I paid $2.00 more for all drums. They overcooked my wings and I told the cook, and he said with a very nasty attitude that I should have said how I wanted them cook. I said I shouldn’t have to tell you that I didn’t want them overcooked. Then I told the older guy who was in charge, and his response wasn’t any better. I told him that I WILL NOT BE BACK AT ALL!!
