Great neighborhood place in Sylvania to grab a pie and a brew. We got a medium House Special pizza, had sausage, onion, mushrooms, pepper and ground beef. Nice amount of toppings, plenty of cheese, and the thin crust had a nice texture to it I felt. We got the fried pepperoni crisps, they were good and nice assortment of dipping sauces with them, the jalapeno ranch was my fave. Good choice of beers, I got the Hidden Springs Blurred Lines, think Key Lime pie in a beer, really enjoyed it! Big thumbs up to J&G Pizza Palace.

J&G’s is a Sylvania staple! Probably the best Greek salad in town and the pizza is amazing too. They have a variety of other options like gyros or spaghetti if you’re not wanting pizza. Lastly, they have an attached seating space and restaurant called the Dallas Taproom and they have lots of craft beers and a large selection of liquor too. Would highly recommend.

I really like this place! My favorite dish is the gyro, but they were cold when served, which was a bit disappointing. Also, their pizza is surprisingly unique and delicious. They make it in their own way, which you’ll either love or not, but for me, it was special and unlike anything I’ve had before. The service here was excellent as well.

This was one of the worst pies I’ve ever had. No joke, I’ve had many frozen pizzas better than this and for 5% of the wait. I waited 90 minutes for this pie. There was no sauce on the pie. The crust was doughy for a thin style, which I actually asked for “well done” to ensure crispiness. The cheese was extra salty. There was no redeeming quality to this pizza. I gave it away after two slices it was so bad. The people working behind the counter had no idea what they were doing and continuously left the ovens open as they couldn’t figure out what pie was ready. They also handled the pizzas with their bare hands, which I’m pretty sure is a Food and Safety violation. Overall, it makes sense that the locals would appreciate this since they have absolutely no reference to what is actually a quality pizza place. I’m certainly glad I don’t live here. Score: 1.2 out of 10 - garbage.

Tried to get a seat at 6:30 but no luck without waiting almost an hour. Came back at 10:30 that night & I'm glad we did. Ordered the House Special pizza, the side salad with Greek dressing and baklava for dessert. Everything was delicious. The toppings are under the cheese and distributed evenly, the crust was nicely done & the salad was tasty. The baklava was the perfect ending to our meal. Our waitress was fantastic and the prices were on par for the food & drinks we ordered. Will make it a point to eat here the next time I'm in Sylvania for dinner.

J&G pizza is a great place to take people who want to experience one of the Toledo Areas great pizza traditions. They use the best ingredients and you’ll love everything they have to offer. I personally recommend the j&g special or bacon with yellow pepper with cheese bread!

I have been coming here since I was young. It’s been years since my last visit, yet it was just as I remembered! The food here is unbelievable and even now that I’m back in Florida I’m thinking of my next visit! If you’re in Michigan you must try this place!

I was visiting Sylvania from NC, heard good things about this place, and so glad we stopped in. I can’t get a good pizza in the South and no decent Greek style food. This place was amazing, pizza was thin crust, hot and fresh and lots of cheese. Omg the Greek salad had a large slab of high quality feta! Awesome in house made dressing. The spinach pie and the feta dip appetizer were also amazing! I tried a bite of the spaghetti and no complaints there either 😊 Had a home brew beer (Pinot Grigio - yes beer, not the wine) which was unique and tasty. I wish I lived closer!
