We ordered 2 half slabs, and pulled pork. Salads were ok. Mashed potatoes were dry, warm and not hot. Ribs flavor was good but cooked to nearly burnt. They looked like they were prepared 9 hours prior and microwaved. The mac n cheese we had to send back to reward. It was ok, but dry also.

The staff was super friendly and attentive to drinks.however, food came out one on top of the other instead of timing the eating of the food and they never took dishes off the table, even after I stacked them up and pushed them aside.

The BBQ sauce was decent.

Overall, we would probably eat somewhere else for the $130.00 we spent for 3 meals + 1 kid.

The food and service was fantastic! I’m not usually a fan of green beans, but my husband insisted I give them a try—wow, they were really good! The pulled pork was flavorful, and the ribs were so tender they practically melted off the bone. My daughter couldn’t get enough of it. I had the 7oz brisket with their BBQ sauce, which was delicious, but honestly, the brisket was so good it could stand on its own without the sauce. The cornbread was also a hit.

The only downside was the wine margarita—it was a bit too sweet for my taste, though it might be perfect for someone with a sweet tooth.

Overall, I highly recommend this place! The food is great, and there are plenty of photo opportunities to enjoy as well.

Cute country western restaurant with wonderful outdoor seating. I had 7oz brisket platter and brisket was tender. I think apple slaw was my favorite food choice, also corn bread was very good. Friendly environment, great service staff.

this is our second night here in Kahab town, its new year eve and the staffs are wonderful. The food are served a bit slow but worth waiting, we ordered Smoked chicken, Strawberry salad, Green Salad, Strips. They are wonderful.
And i cannot miss mentioning about the decoration of the restaurant, WONDERFULLL. so many reasons to comeback here ✨🫶🏻

Wonderful cowboy forest themed smoked bbq restaurant! I don’t understand why the rating is not higher with their good food, good service and special menu. Highly recommend the pulled bbq pork, soft served and fresh flavor, tasted like marshmallow melting in your mouth!🤩😋😋The smoked brisket is OK because too dry cooked. Otherwise their muffin and homemade mashed potatoes are so fineee

I was driving through from AZ to MT with my brother and needed to stop for dinner. The Iron Horse Restaurant looked intriguing from the photos. We were excited to start our meal with a homemade root beer that was truly authentic. The wood smoke smelled amazing, so we ordered a brisket sandwich. We were unfortunately very disappointed as the brisket was too fatty and bland; only ended up eating 1/2 of it. Also ordered fully loaded brisket chips. It looked amazing, but the chips were too dark (burnt) for our liking. The atmosphere and staff were polite. The side salad we ordered with Ranch was very good for a side salad. It had mixed lettuce, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, croutons, parmesan, and yellow cheese. Probably would not make a point to stop here on a return trip.

This place was so much fun!! We loved all the funny little touches that they used as decoration, but the food!!! Oh my word!! It was so good!! Definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone!!

This place is great. From the moment I smelled the wood burning smoke until my last swig of beer, it was a delight. The staff were funny, interactive and cared about their jobs. The atmosphere inside and out made me feel like I was part of the Wild West. I highly recommend a visit to this gem. FYI, if you go to the bar, you have to order food. Cornbread is only $5 and it’s good. But, you can order an orange for $1. It’s a weird Utah rule. The brisket was on point and my kids Sinatra Burger was a beast. Give it a try, you’ll be glad you did.
