Absolutely 😘 ved the eclectic furniture. The entire place was curated with tables and chairs from estate sales and thrift shops - so cool. The staff was really nice, friendly, and efficient. The coffee came in the less-pretentious sizes (none of that Tall=small). The best part is the to-die-for pastry selection. Unlike the chain stores, these were masterpieces. Yum. The cinnamon bun was my favorite ( but there are more to try!). Nice seating in and out.

The roaster and their product is excellent! The shop also caters to all kinds of tastes with flavor pumps, alternative milks, seasonal, and specialty drinks. They can get busy however, (in my humble opinion) it is a sign of exceptional quality and taste.

We wanted basic drip coffee and gave 30% tip on the already steep price for a cup of coffee. We then went to fill our cups and turns out they only have dark roast or weird flavored medium roast and a decaf option. They don't have normal / standard coffee. So we ended paying a lot of money for undrinkable coffee. I asked for medium roast, standard coffee and they said they couldn't help me.
Guess this means this is no longer a place where we can get coffee. Used to come here quite a bit. Not sure what changed.

I ordered two basic lattes with oat milk—one iced and one hot. The hot latte was prepared first, so I took it and waited for the iced version. However, I noticed that the barista had filled the iced latte with whole milk instead of oat milk. I kindly requested a remake, and they began the process without hesitation. I returned to my table, expecting a brief wait.

After a short time, I spotted my cup on the back table, with the espresso shots left unattended. As more minutes passed, I observed the baristas engaging in conversation and working on other drinks at a notably slow pace. Eventually, they added oat milk to my drink, almost pouring whole milk again, and then took an additional 60-90 seconds to add ice before finally serving it to me.

While the staff was courteous, the execution of the order was lacking. It’s crucial to avoid letting espresso shots sit, as they can burn, and if there’s a mistake with the order, it should be prioritized for a quick remake, especially after I had already waited for the initial preparation.

This review gets hidden because it’s inconvenient and necessarily bruises overinflated egos. It’ll keep coming back, no matter how often it’s suppressed.

Insomnia Coffee Co.’s decision to terminate well-regarded, hardworking employees without providing a valid explanation is highly suspect and undermines trust among Tanasbourne regulars. It sends a troubling message that customers can no longer rely on the service they’ve come to expect.

Praising an employee’s hard work while simultaneously ending their employment reflects a troubling lack of transparency, contradicts the HEARTS value system the company claims to uphold, and raises serious legal concerns. Your actions strongly suggest potential discrimination and expose the company to significant liability.

Employees and patrons remember how you treat them, and they keep receipts. Your ongoing lack of inclusivity is a recurring problem and goes against your posted mission statement. The unresolved claims from the past two years will not remain hidden as you continue to disregard the people who sustain your business.

Quick Common Sense Reminder:
Stop hiring baristas and managers who don’t drink coffee to be the face of your business. Now your product is just as mediocre and underachieving as they are. I’m sure your ghoulish, like-minded investors just love that!

Not as spacious as some of our other branches, this place offers a relaxed atmosphere with comfortable sofa seats. We enjoyed our post-meal time here, indulging in café latte and drip coffee.☕
