Wow just wow!! This place is absolutely a five star getaway! From the minute we walked in to the minute we left we were blown away! My husband and I came here for one night for my birthday and we will definitely be back! We both also got massages and those were so heavenly! My favorite part of the trip was all of the small touches that made this place so memorable! From a bottle of wine waiting us when we arrived, complimentary breakfast in the room, muffins waiting at our door in the morning, to mimosas after our massages! This place knows how to take care of its guests!! Don’t hesitate to book your stay here!

We recently celebrated a family wedding at Walden Inn and Spa in Aurora, Ohio, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the serene beauty of the venue captivated us. The elegant indoor spaces offered a warm and inviting atmosphere for the reception.​

This past weekend we went to dinner down the road from the Walden, our friends we were meeting drove by and said have you ever been to The Barn it looks cool we should stop after and get a drink. After dinner we enter the Barn and were greeted by a man at the podium to the restaurant and I said " Hi we have never been here before we would just like to relax and have a drink." He said go right ahead into the bar no other questions were asked. There was plenty of areas to sit and accommodate 4 people. We went into the bar looked at the drink menu, proceeded to order our drinks the bartender was very kind and began making them. When all of a sudden some extremely rude women came from behind the bar and said what is your member number? We were stunned we said we don't have one and she immediately said then you must leave, no other explanation. The poor sweet bartender was astonished as she was already making our drinks. The problem in this situation is first off we should have never been able to go to the bar and something should have been asked of us at the door when we were greeted by the kind gentleman if we were members. Secondly, we were going to spend money, so what is the issue when there was no one in the bar. Thirdly, what if I was interested in joining this club or had someone considering it, would they be able to experience it, how would you treat them. This is not the way to treat people, you should be more welcoming when people are interested in your establishment. Maybe consider asking people when they enter if they are a member, this would have changed the whole situation and also have the woman that came out from behind the bar be a little kinder.

After spending multiple anniversaries here over the years, I sometimes return for a quiet relaxing retreat solo. The entire experience is done with excellent service and personal touches.
There is wonderful shopping in the area, Chagrin Falls is near by. The Barn is delicious, the golf course is beautiful and spa is one of the best. A favorite place to get away.

How does one put excellence into words?!
Makenna was a pleasure to work with. Pleasant and professional, she worked with us from our first meeting until the day after the wedding when we came down from our suite to pick up decorations and items she’d stored for us.
She was even our bartender to be there and make sure everything went smoothly!
We were in the Jodhpurs Lounge, so we had our own private entrance. It felt intimate and exclusive, while still being warm and welcoming.
Food was great, everyone we interacted with was super sweet. Could not recommend enough. Looking forward to more celebrations here in the future.

I hate to leave positive reviews. Just makes hidden gems more crowded. But these folks absolutely deserve the praise. The entire place is tranquil, the rooms are gorgeous, the Barn is a fantastic old restaurant, and every staff member goes above and beyond in every regard.

My wife and I have now been there twice in the past year, and plan to return.

My wife and I had a wonderful visit! The service staff and room accommodations were all first class. Dinner at The Barn was a major highlight, everything was expertly prepared and delicious. We can’t wait to come back again for some much needed relaxation.

We celebrated my husband's 40th with a night away at Inn Walden. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Everything was amazing - from the staff, service, and room, to the Spa and restaurants. We stayed in the Equestrian suite and enjoyed a huge room with beautiful spa shower, tub and fireplace. The room was clean and welcoming. But it was the little touches and details that we loved the most. We were provided a cheese board, on the house, which we enjoyed in the lovely lobby with cocktails. After returning from dinner (highly recommend The Barn), our room had been turned down with romantic candles burning and a bottle of champagne chilling (again, on the house). In the morning, we found 2 delicious, freshly baked chocolate chip muffins waiting on our door hanger.

We also enjoyed the Couples Suite at the spa. We were given a private suite with a hot tub and sauna/shower to enjoy 30 mins before and after our couples massage treatment. The staff was amazing and we wished we would have booked 10 more treatments.

We can't wait to book our next stay and will definitely be staying for longer. It's going to become an annual tradition for sure.
