5 out of 5 stars! This inn reminds me of a Scottish B&B. The decor, the setting, the breakfast …everything was excellent. We were checked in by Piper who was very welcoming and informative. The complimentary cookies were delicious. The lobby has a fireplace and grand piano and several people played it during our stay which was really nice. There is a puzzle available for those who want to work on it. The grand staircase is impressive. The room was large with a lovely view of the countryside. The bed was soooo comfortable! There was a good selection of food at breakfast and the staff working there were very friendly. The indoor pool was a good temperature and we enjoyed swimming. I’d never been to the area before and look forward to staying here again in the fall.

Great Inn. Secluded. Quiet.
Large rooms. Large hallways. Beautiful grounds, with lots of fire pits, gazebos and sitting areas.
Dining hall across the parking lot has a great buffet and salad bar.
The bakery has lots of items to take home.
Large indoor pool in the basement.

I love the Amish Door and have been there many times. The area is beautiful! I have often wished/thought that the decor should be more aligned with the Amish vibe though....such as the decor in the hallways, art work on the walls in the rooms....this time i was there, the refrigerator did not work, nor did the tv remote or the little night lite in the bathroom. ..over the years, i have noticed the decline in the pool area which really bums me out. The pool area desperately needs some TLC because the paint is dirty and chipping off the walls, the pool itself is dirty and there are not many places to sit in the pool area. It would look SO nice with just some minor changes.

The Inn was very inviting with a grand entrance that had a beautiful staircase and very nicely decorated lobby . The Inn was very clean and the staff extremely friendly. The rooms were clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing which provided a good night’s sleep. The so called continental breakfast was much more than expected and good. They had juices, coffee, cappuccino. They had cereal, pastries, donuts, waffles. They had scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage and bacon. Everything was good. We highly recommend this as a place to stay

Used to be my favorite place to stay. Now many times you can call and get no answer. They cater to weddings now. Thus getting reservations in the spring or early summer on a weekend is the almost impossible. They block out many of the better rooms for the weddings. This is the fourth year I have been unable to get a good room because they are blocked out for weddings ||The last time we stayed the wallpaper was tearing and falling off the wall. The large area by the window seal had large cracks. The mattress had seen far better days and was very uncomfortable and would make you roll into the middle. Air conditioners didn't work and had to be replaced 2 times during our last stays.

Just finished staying here for two nights for my friends wedding that was onsite. Everything was great from when we got there to when we left, all staff members were so nice especially the two I interacted with the most Leslie and Piper. The rooms were adorable and so spacious. Having two sinks was a great idea and the beds were comfy. I loved that on each floor there was a sitting area to read, talk play a card game with whoever you were with. The cleaning service team were so nice and always checking if we needed anything as they saw us come in and out of the room. The view on the property was amazing even though it rained most of the time it was still so beautiful to look at. There is a playground on site for kids along with so much grass to play and a little imagination area next to the playground.
Highly recommend staying here just for a night away or if you are coming for an event.

It's the perfect getaway. We fell in love with the decor and the rooms. The price was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is walking distance. The beds were dreamy. We'll definitely be back again.

My grandmother and I had a two day stay in a beautiful luxurious room. Scenery was beautiful. Piper and mark the manager treated us wonderfully. I would recommend to anyone. It’s worth the drive for the peaceful atmosphere. From Karen and Chloe
