Our room was cozy and clean. Our room was very spaciousness, the bedroom being set off from a nice sized living space. The historical preservation of the property was very alluring to us. The Irish pub downstairs was a great place to hang out. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location, super nice people, and the venue is really cool. It had an Irish pub and cocktail lounge attached. There were exciting events in the hall. A thoughtful breakfast selection. The room was clean and full of style. Walking distance to old town

If you’re looking for a quiet, safe location to stay avoid this hotel. We were booked for a 3 night stay and left after 1 night. Starting at midnight, a seemingly drugged out man started screaming. Our room was on the 2nd floor, but it was as if the guy was standing outside our windows. The same guy started up again at 1 or 1:30, then a couple were screaming at each other around 3. Impossible to sleep through all that noise. We asked for some relief on our already paid fees, but the manager said no. Too bad - could be a nice place to stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it.

The owner’s response to my review deserves further comments. Yes, other rooms were offered. We were told there are 2 “inside rooms” that are smaller with queen beds. We paid $250 per night for a larger room with a king bed. No price change was offered for a move to a smaller room. 1 king bed room on the same floor was offered. It was a corner room with “less” street exposure. No price change was offered. As for the owner’s somewhat condescending remarks regarding the homeless population, I think it says something about how they treat their guests. I am a very experienced traveler. I have stayed over 100 nights in Manhattan NY, Chicago in the Loop, San Francisco, DC, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, St. Louis, LA, and many more smaller cities - all with homelessness challenges. None of those stays included unchecked homeless people screaming outside my hotel room after midnight. My review wasn’t being judgmental of the people screaming outside my room. I was judging the lack of response to the screaming by the hotel operator and or the police. And to write these people are mostly harmless seems to ignore Eureka has one of the highest property crimes rates in the state, some of which have according to reviews occurred in the hotel parking lot. Finally, while I appreciate the owner’s offer for us to come back for 2 free nights, why would I? To be kept awake late at night by the same? We moved to an AirBnB up the road near Trinidad. Very quiet. Very comfortable. Same nightly rate.

This is an eclectic historical Inn with tons of charm Each room represents the era of years gone by but with all the modern creature comforts. The staff is fantastic and are all truly hospitable. Several bars and restaurants within walking distance. We really enjoyed each and every place we visited. Don’t let the surrounding area fool you as it can look a little seedy as you pull up. It’s actually a lovely place full of lovely people. We loved our stay.

The cutest historic Victorian hotel! We loved the charm of our room and getting to explore the beauty of the hotel itself. Walking distance from about everything and the man at the front desk had great recommendations for dinner. We only stayed one night, but would happily stay there again. Thank you for making our one night in this small town memorable!

We absolutely loved our recent stay at the Inn at 2nd & C. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, welcoming, and attentive and everyone made us feel right at home. The building itself is stunning, full of historic charm and stylish, comfortable guest rooms with beautiful antiques.||The bed was incredibly comfortable and one of the best nights of sleep we’ve had in a long time. Everything was clean, quiet, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged for a very relaxing stay. We loved it so much, that we extended our stay a second night!||The location is another huge plus -- right in the heart of Old Town, within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. We hardly used our car at all!||We'd highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for a unique and restful getaway with top-notch service.

We dined at Galagers for rhe first time. Found the food fantastic, my wife and I shared large prawns and each had a cup of clam chowder. My son had Cod. All meals were wonderful and atmosphere was rhe quaint style which seems to match all of Eureka. People were incredibly nice.
